D'Angelo & Estelle are keeping it sexy on magazine covers this month.  Check out their UPTOWN magazine & SHINE magazine flicks inside, plus Towanda Braxton's new photoshoot...

D'Angelo is making his magazine cover rounds as he makes his comeback.  The sexy crooner is covering the August/September 2012 issue of UPTOWN Magazine.  Vintage sex appeal is always welcomed.

 

And on the September/October issue of SHEEN Magazine, singer Estelle puts on her fave makeup looks and cute leg-baring looks for the cover and spread:

Loving this orange shade of lipstick for her.  In the issue, hitting stands tomorrow, The "Thank You" singer discusses her career, what makes her sexy and making time for romance with a busy career. She also touches on the state of the music industry, and bringing a real flavor back to R&B. By the way, she paints too!

 

And now that "Braxton Family Values" are back on our tvs, Towanda Braxton just rocked a new photoshoot for designer Reco Chapple's House of Chapple clothing line:

The slim and trim middle sister, who is the voice of reason amongst the clan, shot for the new HOC Magazine.  And was styled by Mr. Reco himself.  Check out the photoshoot video footage below:

In a stunning black & white photo, the "A New Day" singer showcased her brand new cover for her upcoming fifth studio album Girl On Fire.  She posted the above cover to her Facebook page saying:

Christina Milian Hits The Studio With Weezy

The newest YMCMB princess, Christina Milian, snapped some pics while pulling an all-nighter in the studio last night.  And either she and head honcho Lil Wayne are prepping some music together, or she was there just to support her fam.  But we're going with the former.  It's only right.

Down in Miami last night, Ms. Milian hit the studio with Lil Wayne & Mack Maine as the YM fam worked on some new ish.  So we know who's very likely to appear on at least one track on her upcoming album she's been working on.  Christina, in a cute tied up red & leopard shirt & black short shorts, tweeted pics from the studio saying:

Iconic basketball star Kobe Bryant turns 34 today.  Take it to the net with the baller inside.....

 

Fresh from winning a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics, NBA icon Kobe Bryant celebrates his 34th birthday today.  

And whether he's scoring points on the court, dedicating time and resources to charity, or being a loving and doting husband and father (we'll overlook those indescretions today) Kobe continues to inspire fans.

Kobe says these are his last couple of years in the league.  So the sexy hoopster plans to go out on top.

In a belted red back zipped Victoria Beckham dress ($1650) and new black (with stone & jeweled garnishments) Decora Louboutin pumps ($3900), the tennis pro made her way to a taping of "Letterman" earlier today.  And chick looked fabulous.  Tons of words aren't really necessary...but don't say we never gave you anything to admire fellas.

Lauren London OPENS UP About Trey Songz SAYING They Are "Not Together"

Lauren London recently chatted it up with Quddus where she addressed rumors about dating Trey Songz and revealed how long she's known Lil' Wayne. Deets inside......

 

"The Game" actress, Lauren London, recently hung out with Quddus for his “Q Side” internet show where they talked about Trey Songz and Lil' Wayne. As the duo shopped for their favorite albums of the year, Quddus remarked that he saw a pic of Lauren with Trey and said they looked good "together." Lauren replied that, "We are not together. We just took a picture together. I know him and he's a great guy, so I laugh at that."

Though Lauren makes it seem like they only had a casual friendship, Trey Songz recently said that it was much more. Last week, he told 106 KMEL that, "Lauren London is a very important person to me, I love her to death. Is she my woman? No. We are great friends and we HAVE been lovers before."

We guess Lauren is being "coy" about getting it in with Trey.

And when it came to baby daddy Lil' Wayne, Lauren said she doesn't understand why people are so fascinated with her past relationship. She later revealed that she's known him since she was 15 and no one knew about their relationship because she wasn't in the public eye.

Get Ready For Season 3 Of "Single Ladies" + "R&B Divas" SETS Ratings RECORD For TV One

VH1 has announced that it will bring back "Single Ladies" for a season 3. Get the deets inside and find out about "R&B Divas" record ratings for TV One.

"Single Ladies," the Queen Latifah-produced scripted series, has had a successful run during its second season and now VH1 wants them back in 2013.  It's not our cup-o-tea, but apparently, folks love it.  With episodes averaging around 3.2 million viewers during premieres plus first encores, the show is basic cable’s scripted show amongst women 18-49.

And the show's stars, LisaRaye McCoy (Keisha), Denise Vasi (Raquel) and Charity Shea (April) had some help drawing in viewers as folks like Paula Patton, La La Anthony, William Levy, T.I., Romeo, Lauren London, Michelle Van Der Water, Omar Gooding, Pilar Sanders, Rick Fox, Ricky Whittle, Tank and Tony Rock all made appearances.

Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Production, VH1, spoke about the renewal saying,

“Our viewers’ love affair with ‘Single Ladies’ got even bigger this year, growing significantly from its successful first season and dominating its time slot on basic cable. We’re extremely happy that we’ll be able to give the audience another great season of the series and its honest, current take on love, dating and female friendship.”

Congrats to the cast!  And check out the Season Two finale Monday, August 27 at 9PM ET/PT on VH1.  Season 3 kicks off in 2013.

 

In other tv news.......

"R&B Divas" looks like it will be a big success for TV One as the network announced today that the debut episode was the most watched original premiere in the history of the network. Nearly 900,000 viewers tuned in to watch Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt's quest to reclaim their fame.  And those are big numbers for TV One.

Toni Judkins, TV One EVP of Programming and Production remarked,

“We were confident in the quality of production and that the compelling storytelling deriving from the Divas’ willingness to present their lives so openly and honestly would result in an entertaining series. We’re pleased that the ratings reflect the viewers’ interest in and support of the show and TV One.”

Are you watching "R&B Divas?"  We are...and we're feeling it.

Bobbi Kris & Her Boo Nick Get Frisky & SHow Off Their NEWEST Tatts

Because their matching "WH" tattoos on Whitney Houston's birthday recently weren't enough, Bobbi Kristina and her boo Nick Gordon just got more tattoos.  Partly in honor of Whitney, and partly to show off their next moves.

BK had a huge music note inked on the right side of her torso.  While Nick had a large roaring "protective" lion tatted on his right shoulder.  BK explained the pics saying:

NeNe Leakes REVEALS 2-Month-Old Granddaughter Bri’asia To IN TOUCH

In the latest issue of In Touch, actress NeNe Leakes talks about her latest role....grandmother! And even shows off the newest bundle of joy.  Get the deets inside....

 

NeNe Leakes opened up to In Touch Magazine recently about her adorable granddaughter Bri'asia and her new role as a grandmother.  She also revealed that her son Bryson and his girlfriend Ashley had initially kept the pregnancy a secret.

But it wasn't really a secret since the blogosphere has been talking about this since last year.  But we digress.  NeNe said she only found out because she ran into Ashley and she was 6 months pregnant.  So....once the baby arrived...so have the photoshoots:

“I only found out about everything because I ran into Ashley when she was more than six months along. I said, ‘You look pregnant.’ And she said, ‘Hasn’t Bryson told you?’ But he hadn’t because he knew that I wouldn’t approve of him having a child so young.”

“I didn’t feel like he was ready for such a big responsibility. I was his age when I had him, so I know how tough it is. I didn’t want him to make the same mistakes that I did. I needed to let it sink in.”
 

Now that the baby is here, an excited NeNe says, “I always wanted to have a girl...and now I have one! She’s just adorable.”

44-year-old NeNe also revealed that she is using her "rich-ness" to support the young family.

“I paid for everything in the nursery: the clothing, the diapers. I don’t want her (Ashley) to feel strapped.”

She's also bought the baby “little dresses, sparkly headbands, and Gucci shoes … We just love her.”  Well isn't that special.

Embracing her new role, she adds, "Forty is the new 30. I’m a sassy, fashion-forward grandma!”  She also tweeted about Bri'asia saying, "Yes this is the first & only! I'am proud 2 b a Glam Ma"

THROWBACK FAB: Nicole Richie & Mom Brenda Harvey Richie Post Childhood Pics

Nicole Richie was in a nostalgic mood this week as she revealed some rare photos from her childhood...and with adoptive parents (who are now divorced) Lionel & Brenda Harvey Richie.

Wreckless socialite turned cleaned-up mom Nicole Richie has been posting a few rare photos this week that gave us a peek into her lavish childhood.  She tweeted the above pic and asked if it was too late to enter "Toddlers & Tiaras."  Ha!  They did love to dress alike it seems.

Her mom, Brenda Harvey Richie, was married to her dad Lionel Richie when they took Nicole in at the age of 3 after her birth parents couldn't care for her.  Brenda & Lionel legally adopted her when she was 9.  Nicole often talked about how once Brenda & Lionel divorced, they turned to giving her gifts and money and "too much freedom" in order to keep her happy.  And we saw what type of teen/20-something she became.  But now that she's a mom and wife (to Joel Madden), she also says it's led her to be a much more strict mom (she's uber strict about Harlow & Sparrow's eating habits & behavior):

Solange POSTS New Pics Of Herself & Her Sister, More "Madewell" Shots RELEASED

Solange Knowles revealed new pics of herself and her sister Beyonce on her blog recently. See the pics inside and check out higher quality pics from her Madewell photoshoot......

Solange recently posted a pic of Beyonce chilling with a beer and looking fabulous on her blog. The pic appears to be an extra snapshot from the ladies' recent trip to Texas. And Solange also posted a pic of herself admiring the atmosphere.

We told you earlier about Solo signing on as the face of Madewell (J. Crew's sister store) and now we have some additional pics from her photoshoot.

Tina Knowles revealed that their family is spoiling Blue Ivy.  She said, “Blue Ivy is wonderful, I just saw her yesterday, she’s starting to scoot to crawl so that’s exciting,” When asked if Beyonce is spoiling her Blue, she said, “Of course she is, we all are.”

She added, “I put the phone in front of [Blue], and I was like [to Beyonce], ‘Let her crawl’, and she starts looking up at her Mom and her Mom carries it to her. [I tell Beyonce] like you gotta man up and get a little tougher.”

Tina also revealed that her nickname for the baby is Blue Blue. Watch it above.
