Alicia Keys was spotted rocking her classed up sports gear while filming a commerical for Reebok yesterday in NYC.

The new short haircut is starting to look really cute on her.  You feelin' it?

Nas CELEBRATES "Life Is Good" In Hollywood With Big Sean + Miguel Reveals "Kaleidoscope Dream" Trilogy

Last night, Nas celebrated his #1 debut of Life is Good in Hollywood with Elise Neal and Big Sean. See pics inside....

Nas was spotted smoking a fat cigar and partying it up at the Roxbury Nightclub in Hollywood.

Elise Neal was among the celebs who came out to celebrate the success of Life is Good.

Big Sean was also amongst the partygoers.

Miguel has announces the three-part release of his sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream (ByStorm/RCA Records). To whet fans' appetite, the "Adorn" singer plans to release two digital-only EPs prior to the October 2nd album release. The first release, Kaleidoscope Dream: Water Preview, debuts on July 31st.  The second release, Kaleidoscope Dream: Air Preview, will be available September 11th. The full-length release of Kaleidoscope Dream (featuring both previously released EPs in addition to five additional songs) will be available at digital and physical retailers everywhere on October 2nd.

Miguel explained the album saying “I believe dreams represent the purest form of fantasy we unleash through our subconscious. They represent the truest freedom we can experience. Totally unrepressed and totally creative.”

Lenny Kravitz and Oprah were spotted in New Orleans on the set of The Butler yesterday. See their pics and Cuba Gooding Jr. inside..........

 

Lenny Kravitz was recently spotted on the set of The Butler in New Orleans, Louisiana.

And we told you previously about Oprah Winfrey being in New Orleans too for the movie.  She was spotted in character as she plays "Gloria Gaines."

 

Director Lee Daniels was spotted taking a break.

Cuba Gooding Jr. was all smiles on set as well.

Rihanna was spotted with friends just off the coast of France today.....still enjoying her vacation.  Decide if we love it inside....


 

 

Taking a break from her tour schedule, Rihanna is still coasting aboard her yacht Latitude just off the coast of France.

She rocked a pink bikini covered in sequins while taking in some sights with her binoculars.

Michelle Obama DAZZLES With AMERICAN PRIDE At 2012 London Olympics, Hangs With David Beckham And GREETS The Queen

First Lady Michelle Obama is across the pond for the 2012 Olympics in London where she hung out with David Beckham, greeted the Queen and promoted her "Let's Move" campaign.   Mrs. O is serving as the head of the US Delegates to the Olympics.  Deets inside.......

Mrs. Obama hosted an exercise session this morning in London (attended by sexy soccer star David Beckham) as part of her 'Let's Move!' anti-obesity campaign.

During the breakfast event, she said,

"Wow - I’m going to be saying that a lot over the next few days. Wow! I can’t believe I am here, I am beyond proud. Some of my fondest memories growing up and even as an adult for that matter involved watching the Olympics on TV.

I know each of you probably were in that position. Being here is otherworldly for me, you know. I am still so inspired by all of you. I am still in awe of everything you have achieved."

And David picked up a few tricks from the First Lady.

 

Later today..........

The First Lady swapped out her sporting attire for a white and silver embroidered dress.

Then she attended a reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace where she was escorted by US Ambassador Louis Susman.

She greeted The Queen at the reception where they dined on British sparkling wine and canapes including quail's eggs and celery salt, cornet of smoked duck and rosette of smoked salmon.  So English.  Gotta love it.

And she also chatted with Prince William & Duchess Catherine.   Tonight are the opening ceremonies.  Who's watching?

Tamia PERFORMS On "Good Day NY" + Mariah Carey SIGNS ON For Lee Daniels' "The Butler" + Emmitt Smith HEADING BACK To "DWTS"

Tamia stopped by "Good Day NY" today where she belted out her latest track.  Watch it inside and get deets on pop star Mariah Carey appearing in The Butler, and Emmitt Smith on "DWTS."

 

Musical chick Tamia dropped by the studio at "Good Day NY" today where she performed the lead single from her latest album Beautiful Surprise. And though her hubby (of 13 years) Grant Hill is in London today with First Lady Michelle Obama as an Olympic delegate, the couple will be honored at Russell Simmons' Rush Philanthropic "Art for Life" Gala in the Hamptons along with Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon tomorrow.

The fab chick was styled by Samantha Telfair for her performance where she wore a sheer leopard blouse by BB Dakota, pants by Tibi, and a black Hermes cuff.

And in movies......

"American Idol" judge Mariah Carey (shown above in her official "Idol" promo pic) just signed on for Lee Daniels' The Butler which has begun shooting in New Orleans.  Former "ANTM" star and actress Yaya DaCosta was also added to the cast.  

The film is based on the true-life story of Eugene Allen, who worked as a butler in the White House from 1952 to 1986, serving under eight presidents. 

Mariah and Yaya will join other YBFers like Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey and Jesse Williams who've already begun shooting.  And music for the film will be composed by the legendary Quincy Jones.  This may be good...

 

And on tv.....

Season three winner Emmitt Smith will return to "DWTS" this season (Sept. 24th) for its "All-Star" edition.  The NFL legend will be back on the floor dancing it up yest again. Unfortunately, he's the only YBFer returning... so far.  There's still a chance Kyle Massey will get voted back on as well.

Well isn't this interesting?  Dwyane Wade was spotted in Beverly Hills yesterday grabbing dinner at Mr. Chow with his girlfriend Gabrielle Union's best friend.  Was "the talk" going down?  You know...the talk guys tend to have with their girl's bestie right before he pops the question?  Hmmm...

 

Pics inside, plus Magic baller Dwight Howard also making a Beverly Hills celeb eatery run...

 

Mr. Wade and his striped socks made a beeline into Mr. Chow yesterday with actress Essence Atkins and her hubby.  Essence happens to be his girlfriend Gabby Union's good friend.  And there was no Gabby in sight.  And if Gabby wasn't meeting them there, was Dwyane trying to extract info from new mom Essence aboout...perhaps...what type of ring Ms. Union would be interested in? Just asking...

2-time NBA champ Dwyane pulled out of the 2012 Olympic TEAM USA due to an injury.  But we're sure he'll be cheering on his Heat teammate LeBron James and the rest of the fellas for the next couple weeks.

 

Elsewhere in Beverly Hills yesterday, Orlando Magic baller Dwight Howard was spotted grabbing lunch at celeb hotspot Toast:

He thanked the valet for grabbing his whip.  And we can only wonder if Dwight is in Cali possibly working on that deal with the Lakers that he's been going back and forth about.  Time will tell....

Is Former "BBW" Jennifer Williams GETTING CLOSE To Maxwell?

Former "BBW" star Jennifer Williams has posted some interesting tweets...and pics...lately.  And it seems like Maxwell just may be her new boo. Deets inside.....

 

The streets are buzzing that Jennifer Williams may be dating R&B crooner Maxwell.  We do know the two have been friends for a while and have hung out on several occassions over the past couple years in group settings.  But things seem to be becoming more about the two of them rather than about their group of friends.

Last week, Jen tweetd a pic of herself and the singer saying, “Me and @_MAXWELL_ last night! Thank u for the bubbly! Fun times.”

It sounds innocent enough.  But Maxwell also recently posted a pic of two bottles of Theraflu and said, “Summercolds #waytoocold.  And Jen tweeted, “I hope my boo feels better soon.”

Could it have been directed towards Maxwell?  Hmmm.  We'll have to keep an eye on these two.  But...dating Maxwell would be a good look for the ex-"BBW" star.  She can only go up from here....

 

Tameka Raymond LAYS Kile Glover To REST, ANNOUNCES The Kile Glover Fund For Water Safety, Says "Kile's Passing Will Not Be In Vain"

Tameka Raymond has announced plans to honor her son Kile Glover after his passing.  She is creating a Fund to increase water safety for families. Details inside and photos from the funeral...

We told you earlier about the funeral of Kile Glover in Atlanta today, and earlier this morning, Tameka Raymond announced her next steps to honor his legacy.

Tameka was seen carrying her youngest son Naviyd from the church after the services.  And Kile's father, Ryan, was also see leavign the church.

 

 She tweeted:

"I appreciate the hundreds, perhaps thousands of prayers. I'm so grateful to you guys. Kile was the most fun, creative, sweet, respectful boy.  Many have asked where to send flowers, but in Lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a contribution to the Kile Glover Fund @ Bank of America.  Our goal to to increase water safety- thru implementing laws, policies & education. Kiles passing will not be in vain, we will see to this.  Sorry, I gave half info Bank of America Acct # 3340 3823 9828 OR via PayPal email TheKileGloverFund@gmail.com ... I love you guys."

This is a wonderful way to honor Kile.  Our prayers go out to Tameka, Ryan Glover, and their family.
