We've all seen the tale of Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but this December we're going to get to see Peter Jackson's gorgeous interpretation of how it all began.

The newest poster for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (above) was released on Saturday in honor of World Hobbit Day, since September 22 was both Bilbo and Frodo's bday.

Martin Freeman, who plays the titular protagonist, is prominently featured on the newest marketing for the upcoming trilogy's epic first chapter, but his boy Sting also sparkles.

In case y'all didn't read J.R.R. Tolkien's literary masterpiece in high school or missed all those sweet animated movies as a kid, Sting is the hobbit's trusty sidekick throughout his journey to Middle Earth.

It's no Samwise, but it certainly gets the job done...

Shocker! Bret Easton Ellis Has Something To Say About Paris Hilton's Controversial Gay Comments!

Given his penchant for controversial remarks regarding homosexuality, we're just frankly surprised it took him this long to speak up!

But yes, author Bret Easton Ellis has used his Twitter to refer to Glee as a giant puddle of HIV, swore that Matthew Bomer cannot act straight enough to portray a character like Christian Grey in 50 Shades, and now, is defending Paris Hilton against the remarks she made regarding promiscuous gay men having unprotected sex with others via Grindr!

He wrote:

Such a shame that despite Paris already coming forward to clarify that her original comments were taken out of context, public figures like him are perpetuating an ugly stereotype by backing them up!

All we have to say is that for someone who has admitted to bisexual tendencies in the past, he seems to have a pretty strange and disappointing fixation with putting down the LGBT community!

You don't have to like or agree with every aspect of it, but we hope he can get over these issues and help eliminate negative and dangerous stereotypes that others may take at face value!

Britney Spears Lucks Out! Reporter With Footage Of Her Furious Father Refuses Sam Lufti's Request To Testify

And Sam Lufti strikes out again!

Britney Spears' former manager and boyfriend is suing her fam for assault and defamation. The trial is expected to begin soon, so Lufti is hard at work trying to prove his case.

He was hoping to use a video of Brit Brit's father swearing at a freelance reporter named Eric Mitchell, but even HE doesn't see any validity in Lufti's lawsuit and is refusing to take part in the trial!

In fact, he completely understands where Jamie Spears was coming from during the confrontation and claimed to be "100% Team Britney" after explaining:

"Sam Lutfi's attorney Joe Schleimer called me on Sunday morning and wants me to take the witness stand about a video I shot of Jamie Spears four years ago when Jamie cursed me out. This was around the time that Britney was having her very public meltdowns, and I don't blame him at all for cursing at me as he was going through so much at the time. I'm not inclined to turn over the video, nor voluntarily appear. If Sam wants me to testify, he will have to formally subpoena me."

On top of resisting Lufti's requests to testify in the Spears trial, Mr. Mitchell is wishing "her all the best."

Rihanna Smokes Rocks Diamonds In New Single!

While we recently got a look at Rihanna's newly designed website, along with her "R" logo, we now have even MORE info on her upcoming album!

It's just been revealed that her soon-to-be single, Diamonds, will be released THIS Wednesday!!!!

SO exciting! We cannot wait to hear what RiRi has been working on all this time... and leave it to Rihanna to represent both her love of weed and also her label in ONE pic!!

As for the much-speculated album title? Though there were rumors previously that it'd be called, 7 World Wonders, Rihanna quickly took to Twitter to clear that up!

The Bajan singer tweeted:

LOLz! The Roc princess has spoken... and shut it down!

Guess she'll just have to keep teasing us until it's revealed!!!

Aaron Paul's Emotional Emmy Romance!

Aww this sh*t is ADROBZ, yo!

Breaking Bad's award winning Aaron Paul may have won the favor of a certain statuesque golden girl at last night's Emmys, but the enigmatic actor only had eyes for a different statuesque, golden beauty... his super sexy, 24-year-old fiancee Lauren Parsekian (above)!

The attractive pair are obviously smitten with one another, and during the Emmy red carpet madness, Lauren gushed over her hubby-to-be!

Parsekian emoted:

"it makes me so happy [to be here with him] . . . I'm honored to be his date. I love him, and I'm in awe of his talent."

Aaron then returned Lauren's favor tenfold by honoring her during his acceptance speech! Jesse Pinkman Aaron sweetly stated:

"my beautiful, most inspiring fiancee . . . You truly saved me."

Tooooo lovely, you darling young thangs!

And apparently, the couple's deep love was even more on display at the AMC Emmy after party, where one onlooker describes them as:

"You can tell they're blissfully in love with one another. It was really sweet to see them. You could tell how supportive Lauren is of Aaron, yet Aaron seems equally proud and gracious to have Lauren as his partner."

Sounds like the stuff of forever-love to us!

New Jonas Brothers Album Is Almost Done!

Finally!

We thought we were going to have to wait till the year 3000 to have new Jonas Brothers music unleashed upon our ears. But it sounds like the wait is almost over!

Now, after lots of hard work and brotherly bonding, Nick, Joe and Kevin are THISCLOSE to finishing writing their HIGHly anticipated new album!

Backstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas over the weekend, Nick admitted:

"We're deep in the process now of creating the record. It takes a second to get back into it [writing new music]."

He admits that "getting back into the swing of things" wasn't easy. Apparently, the bros started writing new stuff back in April, but had a really hard time getting the creative juices flowing.

So, the fellas took a couple months off to clear their heads, and got back together later in the summer. Since then, they've been back in the zone -- and have nearly finished writing their album! Nick blabbed:

"We got back together over the summer and really dove in. Now I'd say we're about 10 or 11 songs in, probably close to some sort of body of music."

YAY!

Of course, it will still take a while for the boys to record, produce and finally release the new album. Sooo we have zero idea when to expect it in stores. (Sorry!)

STILL, it's good to know that things are moving along!

What a haunting portrait of the young Cosette... and a gorgeous, real life interpretation of the illustrated, iconic Les Miserables image!

While the release of Tom Hooper's artful take on the classic tale of innocence and experience was unfortunately pushed back to Christmas Day, we at least have a brand NEW poster to occupy our wanting minds (above)!

We simply cannot WAIT to indulge in this Hooperific visual and aural masterpiece -- yep, we're calling it early, folks! -- which stars Anne Hathaway as wide-eyed Fantine, Amanda Seyfried as the darling Cosette and Hugh Jackman as the daring, passionate Jean Valjean.

With that much star power, such a visionary director, AND a tried and true story, how could this film NOT be epic?!

Looks like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spent one special Halloweekend together!

While Halloween might still be a bit over a month away, that didn't stop Jelena from taking part in the season's festivities!

On Saturday, the young couple celebrated the first day of fall the best way they knew how -- by getting SPOOKED!

Justin and Selena first hit up the premiere of Selenita's Hotel Transylvania and then made their way to Knott's Berry Scary Farm for some amusement park fun!

How cute!!! We wonder who got more scared?! LOLz!

It's now only a matter of days until the Biebs kicks off his Believe tour, so we're sure the couple is glad to fit in as much time as they can together!

Green Day Stays The Night At Our Place Without Dissing Justin Bieber Or Usher Once!

This minimalistic new video from Green Day doesn't even have obscenities!!

Ch-ch-check out Billie Joe Armstrong and his boys bringing back an old school punk sound on Stay the Night (above)!

The band's music vid premiered on YouTube the same day Billie broke down into a quasi-cray rant after being ushered -- pun absolutely intended -- offstage early at iHeartRadio music fest so Usher could expand his own set!

The Green Day singer later checked himself into rehab and his current condition is unknown.

Here's hoping he's feeling better and more like himself.
