Chris Paul COVERS The October 2012 ISSUE Of "GQ" Magazine, DISHES On How "Being Short" Made Him A LEADER!

LA Clippers star Chris Paul covers the October special issue of GQ magazine where he talks about the importance of family and how always being the short guy made him a leader.  Deets and pic of the cutie inside.....

Basketball superstar Chris Paul covers the latest issue of GQ (he's one of three covers starring Denzel Washington and Javier Bardem) where inside, he invites readers to his parents 30th wedding anniversary!  He talks up the importance of family (he and wife Jada just welcomed their second kiddie this summer) and having a great support system.  And also reveals how his height has played a large role in the man he has become.  Here are the highlights:

On the positive aspects of being short:

"I've been fortunate to be short my entire life. There's only one position I've ever had to play, and that's point guard. So I've always had to be that leader. And that was my job: you know, to talk."

On his negative outburst resulting from Lakers player Pau Gasol "sonning" him:

"We call that sonnin', Like when I take Li'l Chris to the bathroom, I'll walk with my hand on his head. That's my son. You know what I mean? I understand that Gasol is that tall, but don't do to me what I do to my son."

On being a people person:

"I'm a big-time people person, too. Like, I love people. I hate to be by myself." He repeats the phrase to himself, quieter each time: "I hate to be by myself. I hate to be by myself. I hate to be by myself."

On the importance of family:

"I realize that I'm not going to be doing interviews for the cover of GQ for the rest of my life, know what I mean? I'm on TV because I play basketball really well. But when all this is over with—say something crazy happens, God forbid, and I can't perform anymore. All those people that were in there? They're still gonna be there."

STILL KILLIN IT: Iman Gets GORGE In Valentino At New York City Ballet Gala

It's that time of the year again.  The gorgeous ones tuned out for Thursday night's New York City Ballet Fall Gala to celebrate the opening of the 2012-2013 NYC Ballet season.  And supermodel Iman just reminded everyone why pushing 60....may not be such a bad thing...

She's 57 and simply stunning.  Model Iman hit the red carpet for the opening night of the New York City Ballet last night at at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center.  And since Italian fashion designer Valentino was the honored designer of the evening, Iman rocked a classic black Valentino gown for the occasion.

Valentino also created exclusive costumes for the one-night-only performance that included pointe shoes in ruby red — his signature color.

Loves the hair jewelry.  Sarah Jessica Parker, Anne Hathaway and 800 others were front and center for the delicious event.  Gorgeousness indeed.

So...An Alleged Kanye West SEX TAPE Is Being Shopped...Featuring A Kim K. LOOK-A-LIKE!

A sex tape allegedly starring rapper Kanye West and a chick who, of course, looks like Kim but is NOT her....is being shopped around. Get the deets on tape inside.....

Though Kanye West is already one of the biggest celebrities in the world, his fame could go to the next level--one way or the other--if an alleged sex tape ever hits the market.

According to Radar Online (screen shot above), a sex tape which stars the rapper is being shopped around the market.  The freakiness is 20 minutes long and begins with a young woman (who allegedly looks like Kim K. but is not her) looking directly into the camera and saying that she is 18-years-old and, "My husband and I don't have sex anymore... that's why I'm here!"

It's pretty obvious Kanye likes a certain type of chick, so none of this comes as a surprise. 

Radar, who claim they can verify it is definitely Kanye, reports that the rapper wears a condom (how responsible of him) and engages in various positions with the female star.  The pair never kiss and Kanye looks directly into the camera before switching it off.  Too bad he forgot to hit that erase button.

An insider told Radar,

"The sex tape is being shopped right now and there's a lot of interest, but Kanye is freaking out!. He doesn't want this tape out and will do anything to make sure it stays private. If this were to hit the market it would be worth a fortune… there would definitely be a lot of people wanting to see this!"

The source adds, "In my expert opinion Kanye's performance far outweighs Kim's!"  However, Kanye doesn't think this is the career boost he needs right now.  The source also said, "Kanye was practically in tears when he heard the tape was being shopped."

In tears?  Wasn't he just praising his own girlfriend for being a sex tape star and calling her the "perfect bitch" for what she is now because of it?  Oh how things change...

Tamar & Vince Hit The Town In NYC To Celebrate Their Spinoff Premiere

Tamar Braxton & hubby Vincent Herbert celebrated the premiere of their new WeTV spinoff show "Tamar & Vince" by hitting the town in NYC.  Check out their cutesy pics and a clip from their premiere inside...

 

Your favorite extremely extra couple--and after last night's premiere we learned Vince can have little lovable divo moments as well--is on the promo circuit for their new reality series.  And they were spotted at a festive event at the trendy Caulfield bar in NYC where fans could celebrate the music mogul and his funny wife.

After the season finale of "Braxton Family Values," Tamar & Vince kept the Braxton party going with a look into their new BIG ASS house, their celebrity friends who help guide their marriage like Mary J & Kendu Isaacs, and Tamar still trying to get her life...and her new album.

A black streak in a blonde bun?  Interesting.

And out and about in NYC yesterday:

The twosome shared some kisses as Tamar rocked a skin tight Rabbit print "Hunter" dress by EKINEYO and pulled a change up with her nude pumps.

Vince was on the phone as usual.

Kanye West & Wale Get ATTACKED By Roscoe Dash For Not GIVING CREDIT

"All the Way Turnt Up" Rapper Roscoe Dash is lashing out at Kanye West and Wale for using his contributions--but not giving him proper songwriting credit on the G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer album.  Check out Roscoe calling them out inside......

 

WHen he's not busy trying to mack Karlie Redd on "Love & Hip Hop ATL" (can we talk about how AWKWARD that was--felt like a mama macking to her own son), Roscoe Dash is busy writing club bangers for your favorite rappers.  And he's tired of not getting recognized for it.

Ghostwriting for rappers/singers is nothing new, but sometimes those folks behind the scenes want a little appreciation or credit for their contributions. Roscoe Dash is no different as he took to Twitter to blast Wale and Kanye West for ignoring his contributions.

Roscoe, who appeared on "No Hands" with Waka Flocka, got pissy after Kanye posted a video where he rattled off a list of people who contributed to the CRUEL SUMMER album.....and Roscoe did not make the list.

In his tweets he said,

 

He also revealed that he wrote Wale's hit "Lotus Flower Bomb." Roscoe adds that in the industry you can't do people favors because they will "take" from you.  Hmm....

After his rant, and a phone call from Wale, he backed down and admitted he only wrote Wale's hook for the track. But he stood about being left of of Kanye's list. 

 

 

So far............Kanye hasn't responded.  But, Wale did tweet, "Nighas be wellin on twitter."  He mentioned no names but we already know....

IT'S OFFICIAL! Kenya Moore & Porsha Stewart Join "RHOA", Snap First Cast Photo

It's official!  Former Miss USA Kenya Moore and Football wife Porsha Stewart are the newest castmembers for the fifth season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta."  See their first promo pics inside...........

  

We told you earlier that there would be some new faces in the mix for Bravo's fifth season of "RHOA" and now we know that those faces with be Kenya Moore and Porsha Stewart.  NeNe Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey will be returning for what makes the first all-black Housewives cast.  Kim Zolciak is being phased out, obviously.  And we must say...we will indeed miss Marlo's "blessings from God."

 

Kenya, a former MISS USA, is an actress and the CEO of Moore Vision Media.  As for her profession listed on Bravo's site--"Housewife."  Apparently you don't need to be married to even claim the profession of Housewife these days.

And Porsha is the granddaughter of Civil Rights leader and philanthropist, Rev. Hosea Williams. She's married to retired Pittsburgh Steeler Kordell Stewart and has a stepson named Syre.  She and her hubby have also started the Kordell & Porsha Stewart Foundation for Cancer Research.

The new season kicks off on Bravo on Nov 5 @ 9/8c.  We might actually watch this time around...

Chad Johnson OPENS UP About Evelyn Lozada & The Miami Dolphins, ADMITS "You Never Know What You Had Until It's Gone"

In his first interview since losing his job and his wife, Chad Johnson said on "Inside The NFL" he lost the two things he loves in this world....football and Evelyn Lozada.  Watch the clip inside....

 

On an interview set to air on Showtime's "Inside The NFL" at 9 PM tonight, former Miami Dolphins player Chad Johnson opened up for the first time and talked about the domestic abuse incident that ended his marriage and job with the Dolphins. 

He said that he takes full responsibility for what happened between him and Ev and he is using this time to work on himself.  He added that "You never know what you had until it's gone." He also revealed that he has enrolled in anger management classes to help control his temper.

TV TIDBITS: Nick Cannon BRINGING "Wild ‘n Out’ BACK To TV, The Obamas WILL Appear TOGETHER On "The View" And "106 & Park" HAS NOT Been Cancelled!

Nick Cannon is bringing "Wild 'n Out" back to TV. Get the deets inside and find out about The Obamas making a joint appearance on "The View" and find out if "106 & Park" is getting cancelled.

 

If you thought Nick Cannon's "Wild 'n Out" series on MTV was funny, you'll be please to know that Nick is bringing the series back to television. Though a network has not been named, the show will return with some new faces as well as fan favorites Katt Williams, Kevin Hart and Charlie Murphy. We will keep you posted as more details emerge.

 

And in other TV news.........

The President and First Lady will make their first joint appearance on "The View" next week. The episode, which will tape on Monday and air on Tuesday, should provide big ratings for the show as President Obama’s appearance in July 2010 was the show’s highest rated episode! Also, President Obama will appear on CBS’ “60 Minutes” next Sunday.

And in cable TV news........

 

Stephen Hill took to Twitter recently to respond to rumors that "106 & Park" had been cancelled and would go off the air after Friday.  He said, Fam, Don’t believe the hype! We aren’t going anywhere! We ARE planning a farewell to @TerrenceJ & @rocsidiaz tho. #New106 hosts Oct. 1 6P/5c."

He later responded to a fan saying, “RT @Lyssn_and_Learn: Just gonna ask the source @StephenGHill is it true 106 and park is being cancelled??««No it’s not. Not even close!”

So.....fans will still get their daily dose of videos...just with new hosts.

 

BONUS:

The Rickey Smiley Show (starring Rickey Smiley) made history and became the highest rated premiere in the history of the TV One network this week.  The debut episode reached around 621,000 homes and after repeat airings, reached nearly  2.3 million viewers in total.  Congrats to Rickey!
