Grab your Trukfit and your Beats.  Because Lil Wayne making it to his 30th birthday calls for a celebration....

He's been in this game half his life, and has locked in his place as one of the biggest rap brands alive.  From clothing lines to his hit-making rap crew to his literary empire to the ridiculous amounts of music he drops on a constant basis--Lil Wayne is indeed a dude in his own lane.

And after cleaning up his life after multiple arrests and being affected by heavy drug use, he now spends most of his time being daddy to his 4 kids, commanding the YMCMB crew, performing and spitting his expertise of the sportsworld.  And he even opened a brand new skate park for kids in his hometown of New Orleans. 

We gotta say, we're liking this new fun, crazy, talented and (seemingly) sober Tunechi.  He tweeted today:

KID TALK: Nia Long Says Women Need To Be "Responsible" & "Not Have A Baby To Collect Checks" + Tiffany Evans Welcomes BABY GIRL!

Nia Long has some words for women who plan to become a parent.  Even though she's caught flack herself for having two kids (Kez Sunday & Massai, Jr.) by two different men and both out of wedlock, she maintains she's done everything to look out for the safety of her kids.  And other women should do the same.

 

Her comments about why women shouldn't have babies just to collect checks, plus singer Tiffany Evans has her baby girl...

Fab actress Nia Long made her way to D.C. last week for the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Leadership Conference festivities.  And she spoke to The Root at the Planned Parenthood CBCF luncheon about how she will be cracking down on her two sons when the topic of sex enters their lives.

She revealed, "As soon as I think anything's going on, there will be a big sit-down and a box of condoms!"

But she had some real words for certain women who use their kids as a means for money.  And she defends the fact she has two children out of wedlock, yet still raises her children with the utmost safety and security both emotionally and financially.  And her man, Ime Udoka, is indeed co-parenting:

"I think women need to be responsible before making the choice [to become a parent] and do it for the right reasons. If you're going to have a baby to save a relationship, that doesn't work. If you're going to have a baby to collect a check from someone else, that's not the right thing. You have to be responsible and be able to stand on your own," said Long.

Oh.

 

In other news, singer Tiffany Evans, formerly signed to Mathew Knowles' record label, just welcomed her and her husband's first baby.  It's a girl!  Tiffany tweeted:

She's here 6/13 oz Happiest day of my life...

Chris Brown just released his brand new video for his single "Don't Judge Me."  Check it inside...

 

Breezy collaborated with director Colin Tilley for his newest intimate visual for his track "Don't Judge Me."  The song appears on his 5th studio album Fortune and was produced by The Messengers.

Chris shot the vid last month in abandoned streets and rooms.  Check it above.

And in case you missed it, Chris also released his Euro tour dates for this fall/winter.

Alicia Keys On MOMMY DUTY In London, Papa Swizz Beatz Gets New HEALTH AMBASSADOR Position

Alicia Keys was spotted out and about with baby Egypt today in London.  Check out the cute pics of the "Girl on Fire" on Mommy Duty, plus her husband Swizz Beatz's big new Ambassador job...

The sandy haired cutie turns 2 in a few weeks, and he's already an official globe trotter and he rolls with mommy Alicia everywhere she goes.  Egypt Daud Dean was spotted with his toys and pacifier in tow today as the duo arrived at the ITV studios for Alicia's guest appearance on the "Alan Carr: Chatty Man" show.

Rocking tight red pants and black Louboutin boots, Alicia is doing promo for her upcoming Girl On Fire album overseas. 

 

 

And back home, her hubby Swizz Beatz was just named as Global Ambassador To New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation.  In his new role, officially kicking off tomorrow (September 27th), Swizzy will be assisting the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and the Fund for the HHC in fostering a relationship between the arts and therapeutic healing.

Swizz's first duty is to host a special fundraiser tomorrow night at the Harlem Hospital Center.

A noted philanthropist, Mr. Dean shares HHC’s vision for expanding access to care and improving the quality of healthcare for all New Yorkers. COUPLES NIGHT: T.I. Celebrates His Birthday With Wife Tiny, Toya & Tamar

T.I. made his 32nd birthday a couples' night.  The ATL rapper celebrated with his wife Tiny and their celeb couple friends last night.  Peep the pics inside..

Clifford & Tameka Harris were all about the love on T.I.'s b-day yesterday.  So the twosome headed out for a birthday dinner with some of their kids and their celebrity friends like Toya & Memphitz and Tamar & Vince:

Well aren't they cute.  We're sure this was being filmed for somebody's reality show--as for whose, take your pick.

Tiny posted a pic of her man's birthday cake fit for a King.

And their son Major was there for the festivities.

And Tiny posted the above little nugget before they went out.  Can't say that chick doesn't love her husband something serious...

Solange Knowles Gives Behind The Scenes Peek At "Losing You" Video + Trey Songz On The OBAMA Campaign Trail

Solange Knowles is gearing up for the release of her first track and video of her own that she's done in the last few years.  Check out the behind the scenes style of her "Losing You" video, plus Trey Songz stomps down the Obama campaign trail....

 

At Mickalene Thomas Studios in Brooklyn, Solange put her best fashion foot forward for her new "Clueless inspired video for her upcoming new single "Losing You." 

Director Alan Del Rio Ortiz said about the vid:

“We’re playing a typical party game called ‘Suck and Blow.’ It was based on something Solange had seen in Clueless.  She just really liked the idea of having her friends together in a room. We tried to find an interesting way to connect everyone and bring them together to show that this is her new style, her new look, her new sound. It’s kind of a reintroduction to her work.”

Solange said about the movie that we also know every single word to, "If you haven’t seen Clueless, it will change your life. It’s such an iconic moment in time, especially for my generation.”

LaLa Anthony Hits Up The Breakfast Club, Defends Kim K.'s Alleged Ho-Ness & Balancing Family & Career

LaLa Anthony rolled to The Breakfast Club on NY's Power 105 this AM to dish out advice to fans who called in.  And she had to dip back into her Brooklyn mindset and go in on folks who she says keep calling her friend Kim K. a ho. 

 

She also dished on her upcoming movie, why she's giving her biggest fans a shopping spree, and how she balances being constantly on the go with being a great mom and wife...

Don't call Kim Kardashian a HO...at least not to LaLa's face.  She was taking calls from fans today alongside Charlamagne--who she called out for being more talk than action when it comes to getting it in with several chicks--when the topic of the definition of a ho came up.  (peep the 13:45 mark) So after La already warned Charlamagne to not even go there about Kim...a caller referenced Kim's ho-ness in a question about whether birds of a feather flock together.

The reality star also dished on her upcoming movie Baggage Claim with Paula Patton.  And she says the key to balancing career with wife-dom and motherhood is to just do it.  Make a schedule, prioritize, and find extra hours in the day.

BACK IN THE SADDLE: Evelyn Lozada Does First Sexy Photoshoot Since Domestic Violence Scandal

Evelyn Lozada is officially back at work.  And by work, we mean doing photoshoots.  Check out flicks from the set of her first sexy shoot since her domestic violence & divorce debacle inside...

 

Rocking a golden skirt custom made for her by Jason Sky, Evelyn was back in the photoshoot saddle yesterday in Atlanta.  She tweeted about shooting with PETA, but it's not clear if all the pics from her full photoshoot day were for the animal right's org.

She rocked scenes in a white hot and red hot swimsuit inside and outside the pool, and she shot with photographer Drexina Nelson.

We may still be side eyeing her whole PR journey of a convenient anti-violence campaign, but chick still looks hot.

She used her own Evelyn makeup for the shoot.

She posted about her return saying, "I was so happy to FINALLY get back to work after taking a hiatus that seemed like FOREVER!"

Matt Barnes & Gloria Govan GET MARRIED...And Do Pre-Wedding Shoot In ROLLING OUT Magazine

The twosome had a secret wedding in Vegas over the weekend.  The "Basketball Wives LA" on-and-off couple Gloria Govan and Matt Barnes are indeed now husband and wife....a set of twins, a couple reality show seasons and several breakup-to-makeups later.

 

But before they jetted off to Vegas, the duo shot a cover and spread for the new issue of Rolling Out magazine.  And according to Gloria's interview answers, the two had no real wedding plans at the time of the shoot...so she says....

 

Gloria Govan finally got what she wanted....Clippers baller Matt Barnes as her husband and not just her babies' daddy.  The twosome wed in Vegas this past weekend at the Little Church of the West as her sister Laura and her man Gilbert Arenas were by their side.  And her parents were flown in last minute for the surprise wedding as well.

According to the Las Vegas Review, Matt's teammate DeAndre Jordan was his best man, and fellow ballers Chris Paul and Blake Griffin were there as well.  This explains why all the couples were partying it up back in L.A. this past Sunday at Chris' GQ cover event.

In the Rolling Out cover story released today and done before the weekend nuptials, Gloria said the two def want to get married, but gave the impression no plans had been made at that time.  She did say it wouldn't be a big fiasco.  So I guess a quickie Vegas wedding qualifies for "non big fiasco."  Here are the highlights from both of their interviews:

Gloria Govan

On Her 8-Month Break From Matt: “I grew so much over those eight months. Now I have to be like, 'Uh uh, I know I used to like that because you liked it but I said all that to be cute for you! I don’t like eggs mother---!’” “So now he’s really getting to now me. That’s fun.” 

On Marrying Matt: “It’s not that we’re not interested; it’s just not now,” says a pre-wedding Govan. “I don’t think it’ll be what people are expecting. I’ll probably be like ‘hey, I got married girl,’ wanna come to the party? I’ll probably send out a flyer for the party."

On A Non Traditional Wedding: "Matt’s a traditionalist so he’ll want a big wedding. Which I would do [for him], but it won’t be like a Kim Kardashian wedding. It’ll be like, ‘you want some barbecue?’ I’ll take cereal. Marriage is something I want to do it’s just not on my number one priority list."

On The Possibility Of Another Baby: “Maybe, don’t tell him I said this…maybe another baby. If it was up to him... (rolls eyes)...I get baby fever and then I see a baby and I’m like ‘awww’ and then they start crying and I’m like, ‘Yeah! I don’t have anymore!’”

On Previously Saying She’d Like To Slap Evelyn Lozada: "Absolutely [I stick by that.] My feelings are what they are to Evelyn, I don't like to kick anyone while they're down but...I think they’re a cute couple I honestly do [Chad and Evelyn] and I know Chad really loves her. Mainly I hope they keep people out of their relationship. That’s what I’ve had to do."

On co-star Jackie Christie: “Jackie Christie has a mouth piece on her, she’ll make a paraplegic feel bad for her. The way way she kind of suckers you in with her words; she’ll give you so many compliments to the point that you’re like ‘damn, okay!’ [extends arms] Give me a hug girl! She’s someone you have to accept, she’s like a beauty mark or a birthmark. It’s like ‘damn that sh--- terrible, but it’s there. You work around it."

 

 

Matt Barnes:

On Why Lamar Odom Comparisons Are Unfair: "I’ve been a sidepiece to ‘Basketball Wives'. I’ve never been a main character so to speak. This season I’m completely not in the show. I think for the sake of our relationship it was best to fall back and not put our stuff out there like before for people to pick and pry through. This time around we’re gonna do what works for us and not what society wants us to do.”

On His 8 Month Break From Gloria: "We love each other. As a young couple you need to experience stuff and live your life and do things sometimes on your own. I understood that and she understood that. It was a small break that was hard but at the time was needed. It brought us closer together and we’re a lot stronger now."
