The Dictator Is Getting Lots Of Love Overseas…But Not In The States! Posted: 17 May 2012 12:10 PM PDT Surprising, given the amount of shenanigans he's gotten himself into while promoting this flick! While Sacha Baron Cohen's latest, The Dictator, has had a pretty impressive overseas debut, even opening in Australia at #1 on Wednesday and beating out The Avengers, the film hasn't fared nearly as well stateside, premiering yesterday to just $4.5 million in 3,003 US theaters! And it was projected to make somewhere in between $5 and $6.5 million! Yeesh! Probably doesn't help that reviews haven't been too favorable either! An exec from Paramount reveals: "It's an uphill battle here. But internatonally it's ahead of the U.S. tracking, especially in Australia and the UK. The publicity does feel like it's paying off overseas, especially that Oscar stunt which got huge pickup." Ha! We guess the foreign market appreciates Ryan Seacrest being covered in ash on the red carpet more than folks do here! Too bad! But hey! The weekend hasn't arrived yet, so maybe it just needs a little time and word of mouth to get the moviegoers coming! Or not, and it will just flop hard! LOLz! What do U think?? Meanwhile, the rest of television attempts to keep up. Ha! ;) But while we're rolling around in euphoria, you know we're also trying our best to control our mountainous concerns that some Glee favorites may not return for Season 4! With stars like Amber Riley and Dianna Agron hinting at their departure via bittersweet tweets, we have felt wretched! Just wretched!! Luckily, Ryan Murphy has finally answered the question of EVERYONE'S fate once and for all! The divine small-screen master reveals: A lot of people have been writing Dianna's off the show, Amber's off the show — they're not off the show. I think Amber was talking about that bittersweet feeling of, 'I'll never be in the choir room with that exact group of people.' At least that's what she told me. When I read that [tweet,] I said, 'I think people will misconstrue that.' She's excited about where her character is going. They all are. I wanted to do the right thing by all of them. We had a meeting, and you know we've become like a family, and I said to them, 'Anybody who wants to stay on the show will stay on the show. They're all coming back. Anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes. It doesn't mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, but everyone wants to stay in our family and our world. John Travolta's Second Accuser Drops His Lawsuit And Fires Attorney Posted: 17 May 2012 11:20 AM PDT Even though more allegations about John Travolta's sexual escapades are pouring out of the woodwork, John Doe #2 has grown tired of the this media mess and has dropped his lawsuit against the actor! The anonymous male masseuse, who claimed the married actor sexually assaulted him during a massage at a hotel in Atlanta, fired attorney Okorie Okorocha a few days after John Doe #1 did the same. As we all know, Gloria Allred has scooped that anonymous man up, but it doesn't sound like Travolta's second accuser will continue with the case. Instead he's just going to file new papers to dismiss the complaint in the near future. Why the sudden change of heart? The man's former attorney says he has no clue. Either way, the decision is a complete 180 because the man seemed determined to take the case to court just a few days ago. This has been a CRAZY two weeks for Travolta and Kelly Preston, who has remained silent on the issue, but is it all over? When discussing her representation of John Doe #1 with the media, Mz. Allred said that she is "in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take."
