Gloria Estefan Gushes On Tonight's Glee Debut Posted: 22 May 2012 01:10 PM PDT Gleeks, are you okay? How are you dealing? Need a tissue yet? Tonight is the long-awaited finale episode of Glee, where the seniors of McKinley High will be accepting those diplomas and leaving the high school hallways behind. While we are SUPER sad for tonight's show, we are also really excited for Gloria Estefan's debut as Santana's mom, Maribel!! Though she doesn't sing in the episode, Gloria hopes to come back to the show next season and show the choir kids just how it's done! Estefan, who says she and her son are big Gleeks themselves, visited the set one day, which led to Ryan Murphy offering her the role of Mrs. Lopez!! Gloria spilled some details on her character in a recent interview, saying: "[She] loved to sing and was a singer and put her life on hold because she thought being a mom was very important so she wants Santana to make it through. She's supportive of her daughter. She just wants her to be happy—bottom line. I know the feeling because my daughter is getting ready to do her last year of high school and she's gonna do a summer program. It's the first time we're all going to be separated. I'm there! It was a very hard thing for me to imagine." Gloria's daughter even came on set to watch the shoot, along with her dad, who admits he got choked up while watching the scenes! On tonight's finale, Mrs. Lopez also shares some scenes with Santana's GF, Brittany -- one which Gloria considers to be "poignant" as well as one that's fun AND scary. As for Gloria's thoughts about Santana Naya? She's a fan and thinks she's super sweet and "fun to be around." Estefan is such a huge supporter of Glee, partly for its ability to entertain and help us use it as escapism. The singer/actress stated: "You couldn't have done this before because we were all too cheeky back in the '80s and '90s and would have snubbed our noses at something so whimsical. Now, people need it! It's fun. Great music. My favorite so far was One Less Bell to Answer/House is Not a Home." We SO agree! We have no doubt in our minds that Mz. Estefan will do AHmazingly tonight and we really do hope she'll appear next season...with a singing solo, too! [Image via Fox.]

Deadmau5 Says Pauly D Has 'No Talent' Posted: 22 May 2012 12:50 PM PDT We don't know why there's so much beef between these guys but they better slap it on a grill and start cooking because it's getting STALE! Reporters caught up with deadmau5 Tuesday and just HAD to ask about the lovers quarrel tiff with Pauly D. When flatly asked whether the Jersey Shore vet was a talented DJ, deadmau5 didn't hesitate: "No, not really. Does any DJ have any talent??" Hmmm. Interesting revelation coming from the mouth of one of the world's highest rated DJs. Deadmau5 went on to wax philosophic: "he flaw fatale [in Pauly's plan] was asking the world what they think." Lindsay Lohan Isn't Satisfied With The Dicks She's Getting! Posted: 22 May 2012 12:20 PM PDT Gurl just can't get no satisfaction!! Lindsay Lohan is all set to play Elizabeth Taylor for Lifetime, but they haven't signed a Richard Burton yet and they need to do it FAST! Filming totally begins June 4 after all... Oh but don't think producers are just being lazy. They actually have three actors in mind. Too bad Linds can't see herself working with any of them!! Poor Rufus Matthew Settle, Craig Robert Young, and Sean Maguire... one of them could be in a sticky situation if they're cast, especially with the way we hear LiLo's talking about them! Apparently they're just not good enough to play her Dick. We hear she wants someone A-list (since she's about to win this Oscar and everything). Maybe she should think about donating some of her salary if she wants that to happen as they're only offering Dick $200,000. That's NOT enough for Brad Pitt, LiLo, we're sorry... An insider dishes: Lindsay is being an absolute nightmare about who should play Burton. The producers don't need to get Lindsay's approval of who will play Richard Burton, but they want to keep her happy. They are already in pre-production and it's very hard to conduct any rehearsals without the pivotal role of Richard Burton. There is also cause for concern because Lindsay partied all night last week with Paris Hilton, Barron Hilton and Brandon Davis. All three, including Lindsay, have been arrested for DUI and/or drug charges previously. Lindsay shouldn't be out partying all night long, no good can come of that. OoOoOo YES! That's right! Donna Summer To Be Laid To Rest Tomorrow With Private Service Posted: 22 May 2012 12:00 PM PDT After the untimely passing of Donna Summer last Thursday, we reported that her family had decided to have a public memorial for the singer tomorrow. However, now, that doesn't seem to be the case, seeing as the church ceremony will be by invitation only. The Disco Queen will be laid to rest in Nashville tomorrow and the church is expecting about 1,000 mourners to pay their last respects to the songbird. Reportedly, Donna's family will have a guest list for the funeral ceremony, with only family members and close friends making the cut. Donna's family have also been insisting that they don't want the service to turn into a media field day, hoping to keep it as private as possible. Though Summer, a music legend herself, worked with many other industry greats, there's no word yet on which celebrities -- if any -- will be attending. We miss you, Donna. [Image via WENN.]

Selena Gomez Survives GIANT Earthquake In Bulgaria! Posted: 22 May 2012 11:50 AM PDT Thank GAWD! A MASSIVE earthquake occurred less than 30 miles from where Selena Gomez is currently filming in Bulgaria, but thankfully, she's okay! The 5.6 earthquake shook the country around 3 a.m., and a 4.9 magnitude aftershock occurred about 90 minutes later. Reports on injured, deaths, and damages have been slow, so the star took it in her own hands to tell her fans she's alight. She tweeted: "Thank you for all of your concerns!! Earthquake was scary but thankfully everyone is ok. Praying for Italy" Oh good! Is Justin Bieber relieved? We don't know. Selenita's (maybe ex-)boyfriend has yet to publicly express any concerns over the earthquake or her safety. However, we are SO happy to hear she's fine!
