| Jonathan Groff Joins Ryan Murphy's The Normal Heart! Posted: 27 Apr 2013 12:31 PM PDT It's going to be a VERY Jonathan Groff year for HBO! The devastatingly sexy Glee star has already been cast in the network's new series about a group of gay men living in San Francisco, and now, he's joined Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo and Matt Bomer in Ryan Murphy's HBO original movie adaptation of the Larry Kramer-written autobiographical play The Normal Heart, about the HIV-AIDS crisis that plagued New York City in the '80s! According to reports, Jonathan will play Craig, a victim of the disease and a lover of investment banker-turned-AIDS activist Bruce Niles, played by Taylor Kitsch! Serious subject matter aside for a minute, you can't lie: That's a seriously HAWT coupling, wouldn't you say?! Regardless, this sounds like an incredibly powerful, emotionally-charged creative endeavor, and we cannot WAIT to see how the finished product turns out! What do U think?? Posted: 27 Apr 2013 11:41 AM PDT And here we were thinking that it was James Franco who was baked out of his skull during his duty as emcee during the 2011 Academy Awards! Guess not, as new reports are surfacing that suggest that it's his co-host, Anne Hathaway, who is apparently becoming quite the pothead in recent years, as sources close to her are revealing that her husband, Adam Schulman, turned her onto the sticky icky! Allegedly, there are some photos circulating that show the starlet sucking down booze with a self-rolled blunt, and any confusion over what substance was inside the wrapping is instantly eliminated, as her eyes are clearly bloodshot red! And just because she was able to starve herself for Les Miserables doesn't mean the greenery doesn't give her an appetite! There are even photos that show her enjoying some serious munchies after the allegedly-documented clam-bake sesh! Well, hey! Given some of the reports regarding her back-stage behavior at the Academy Awards this year, we think she could probably stand to mellow out a bit! But we just hope that she's making choices for herself, and not based on the influence of the people in her life! |

There's been rumblings about this that have had us FREAKING OUT with excitement for months upon months, but now, it's THISCLOSE to OFFICIAL: Prepare yourselves, because Johnny Depp AND Meryl Streep are just an i-dotting and t-crossing away from being OFFICIALLY involved in the upcoming, big-screen adaptation of the Broadway smash Into The Woods! That's right! Rumors about the pair's involvement have been running rampant ever since the project was announced by Disney 16 months ago, especially since director Rob Marshall worked with Johnny on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Meryl's name was dropped in connection with the witch during a table read in October! However, sources close to production are now confirming that the pair "almost have their deals wrapped up for the film." AH-MAY-ZING! These two have both shown off their singing chops before, and we just KNOW their vocal stylingz will fit right in with Stephen Sondheim's gorgeous melodies and lyrics! | Two And A Half Men RENEWED For 11th Season - WITHOUT The Half Man! Posted: 27 Apr 2013 10:39 AM PDT Even with one - and now ONE AND A HALF - of the original Two and a Half Men out of the picture, CBS is STILL bringing it back for another year! That's right, the network has officially renewed the former Charlie Sheen-starring comedy back for season 11, with the actor's replacement Ashton Kutcher and co-star Jon Cryer having signed one-year deals to return...both for around $700,000 per episode! However, it should come as no surprise that the half-man, Angus T. Jones, will reportedly only be appearing on a part-time basis, as a source confirmed that he was "likely" to be interested in going to college after this year, anyway! Or perhaps it had something to do with him publicly calling the series "filth!" Either way, he hasn't been too involved this season, anyway, so we're sure he's not too bummed out with the recent developments! But what about U? Kathie Lee Gifford decided to show her support for her beleaguered Today show co-worker by writing a letter singing his praises, and she was able to get HUNDREDS of her fellow staffers to sign it! Apparently, she originally planned to release the letter as an ad in USA Today, but for whatever reason it was decided that it should stay within the NBC family. While the most of the message is being kept under wraps, a small portion was released that reads:
Well isn't that nice! So who wouldn't want the kind words to be seen by the public? Apparently Matt shot the idea down himself!! How are you supposed to get people to like you when you won't even let us see the nice things your co-workers have to say about you?!!
