Ciara & Future, Trina & French Montana, Chris Brown & More Roll To DJ Prostyle's Birthday Party Posted: 17 Apr 2013 09:23 AM PDT Ciara and her boo Future partied it up last night at DJ Prostyle's birthday party in NYC.  Both took the stage and spent the rest of the night boo'd up.  And Trina with her rumored boo French Montana, along with Chris Brown, Fabolous and more also showed up.  Pics inside... Ciara, rocking her new Givenchy printed sneakers, made her way into the Hammerstein Ballroom with her man Future for Prostyle's big bash.  Both were hit up to take the stage to perform. Kinda loving those white nails too CiCi.   And look who else pulled up on the scene.  Trina..with French Montana.  The twosome have been denying they're dating, but we all know the deal.  But did Trina roll out of bed with this scarf on and go straight to the party?  Loves her though. Fat Joe made an appearance.  Still keeping up his slimmed down appearance. Fabolous hit up the party.   And so did new dad Wiz Khalifa. Chris Brown was there to perform for the huge crowd as Prostyle's invited the public to his big bash.  And by invite, we mean buy tickets to come see these people perform on his b-day. Breezy gave his usual shirtless performance to drive the crowds crazy. And hit the stage with Joe. Ciara looked cute on stage as she promoted her new Ciara album. Ne-Yo was on hand to perform. And the Breakfast Club--"Guy Code" star Charlamagne, "Gossip Game" star Angela Yee and DJ Envy--were all smiles. Fun times indeed.

SCARLET LETTER: Fantasia's "Side Effects Of You" LISTENING Session With Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland & MORE Posted: 17 Apr 2013 08:20 AM PDT Fantasia hosted a listening session for her Side Effects Of You album last night with Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland among the attendees celebrating her return. See the photos inside... Like a scarlet letter, Fantasia endured many trials and tribulations with her most recent relationship.  She's been under of the watchful eyes of fans and critics, and sometimes it's gotten the best of her (remember those Instagram rants?).  But now Fanny has taken those displaced emotions and put them right back where her fans want them.....in the studio.  Celebrating the upcoming release of her rock-soul disc, Side Effects Of You (April 23rd), Fantasia stepped out in LA last night with short auburn hair and a scarlet red dress that announced her return.  And she looks GREAT. Held at London Bridge Studios in North Hollywood, Fantasia played the disc for a room full of celebs and tastemakers, while giving a special shoutout to her producer Harmony Samuels (shown atop).  "Thank You All SO VERY MUCH!!!! SIDE EFFECTS OF YOU IS DIFFERENT AND VERY SPECIAL.. @harmonysamuels. THANKS LOVE" Fela! star Michelle Williams showed off her amazing figure and gave Fanny some love and support.  Fantasia tweeted, "Why I Love You SO MUCH?? CAUSE YOUR SO REAL... CANT WAIT FOR YOUR ALBUM BOO" And proving that she didn't burn any bridges when she left her run on Broadway, Fanny got support from some folks from her past.  "Ally Willis FROM COLOR PURPLE.. Rihanna Goes To The Doctor, Explains Cancelling Houston Tour Date & Says "I've Been Sick Since San Diego" Posted: 17 Apr 2013 07:20 AM PDT Rihanna's been spending her time all over Instagram recently, while apparently covering from an ongoing sickness. Check out what she posted on a fan's account to explain her illness and why she cancelled Houston inside.... Rihanna was spotted back in Beverly Hills yesterday going to the doctor. She then told her fans, via one of her infamous Rihplies on someone else's account, that she feels "sad and disappointed" that she had to cancel her Houston stop this week. But she's actually been since since her San Diego date weeks ago, she says.   Interesting since we've seen her partying hard with her bestie Melissa for her b-day this past weekend in Vegas, tossing back drinks courtside at the Clippers game last week, and cruising around L.A. with her boo Chris Brown recently as well. One of her fans popped off on her saying: 'You not sick you out having fun. How dare you plan a tour then forget your responsibilities!! You need to also be focused on your career. I paid good money for these tickets n they were a surprise for my lil sis 18th bday n now we can't even go!! (sic).' Even if Rih is truly sick, it may be best to skip all partying & "outings" all together and sit on that tour bus and give your body a break...since you're sick and all.  Or at least don't Instagram the constant partying & drinking & smoking that you're doing....while claiming you're sick.  Just some suggestions.   In other news, some online reports pegged Rihanna as the new face of Chanel due to one of her mysterious Instagram pics where she rocked Chanel and said she was shooting a "top secret ad campaign."  Chanel spoke out saying she is indeed not the face and is not shooting for them.  It could have been for her upcoming MAC campaign though....    Photo: Splash

SWOOSH!!?? Rick Ross THINKS Reebok OWED Him A SECOND Chance...Now He's Rocking JORDANS!!??? Posted: 17 Apr 2013 06:50 AM PDT Rick Ross is telling friends that Reebok shouldn't have dropped him as a spokeperson since he's the one who made Reebok Classics "relevant" again. Get a dose of Rick's big ego inside and see him switch to the "swoosh"... Now that Reebok has dropped him as a spokesman, Rick Ross is feeling some kind of way and posting pics of himself switching it up from Reebok Classics to Air Jordans. You'll recall that when the "U.O.E.N.O." controversy first jumped off, Rick didn't pay it any mind.  In fact, he pretty much ignored it.  It wasn't until women's activist groups started putting pressure on Reebok that he even bothered to offer a half-assed apology. Fast forward to this week, sources close to Rick revealed that he stands to lose between $3 to $5 Million bucks because he was getting a check everytime he wore the shoes....so now he's pissed. Yesterday, Rick offered his own passive aggressive statement (possibly aimed at Reebok) by posting a new pic of himself rocking Jordans with the tagline "Another day at the office. #DoubleM" His friends told TMZ that he thinks he should have been offered "corporate forgiveness" since he made the brand relevant in the hip hop game again.  But don't expect a response from Reebok.  They've already said, "We are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse." We have to agree with Reebok.  If Rick and his PR team were truly remorseful, he'd be signing on with a non-profit group that helps rape victims...not posting pics of Air Jordans.  #stillthesame

NEW GIGS: LaLa On the Set Of "SVU" + Kelly Rowland May Replace Britney Spears On X-Factor?! Posted: 16 Apr 2013 06:01 PM PDT LaLa Anthony got a make-under as she hit the set of "Law & Order: SVU" today.  Check out her new gig on the show, plus Kelly Rowland possibly replacing Britney Spears, inside... LaLa's embarking on her acting career, and she's nabbed a role on an upcoming episode of "SVU."  Today, she hit the set to film with star Mariska Hargitay, and she seems to be playing a round-the-way New York girl.  It feels like we haven't seen her this made under in years:   And it's more good news for La as she's been hosting the Motives booth with tons of fans at the International Beauty Show in NYC this week.  Plus, she let her Twitter fans know that she'll be co-hosting "The View" tomorrow.  Are they testing her to be a possible replacement for Joy Behar, like they've been doing with Brooke Shields and Allie Wentworth?  Time will tell....     In other new gigs, sources say Kelly Rowland is being tapped to join "X-Factor" in the U.S. to replace Britney Spears.  She was replaced as "X-Factor" judge in the UK last year by Nicole Scherzinger.  So Simon Cowell pulling her back in for America could be interesting. The Daily Mail reports: Kelly, 32, is now 'most definitely in the mix' to replace Britney Spears on the third season of the Fox talent show, which airs later this year. It's not yet known whether Cowell will appear with three women on the judging panel - or hire another man to replace L.A. Reid. Reportedly, the "Kisses Down Low" singer will join Demi Lovato and possibly Simon for auditions kicking off this June.  This could be a great move for Kelly.  You feelin' it?   The Randomness: 1. In a new interview for the Associated Press, Savannah Brinson, the fiancee of LeBron James and arguably one of the most talked about basketball "wives", steps out from LeBron's shadow and introduces herself as a strong confident woman.   Social media and the internet streets love her...and they also love to hate her.  But for the first time, we get to hear in an official form what Bron Bron's high school sweetheart has to say about herself. Posted: 16 Apr 2013 09:45 AM PDT Jennifer Hudson chatted with Jimmy Kimmel last night about her son, David Jr., breaking his leg during a very common playtime activity.  Watch Jennifer warn parents inside... Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" last night where she promoted her upcoming Lifetime movie Call Me Crazy (about mental illness). Jen, who wore a sexy black Saint Laurent dress, chatted about singing on a Disney cruise ship, meeting Quentin Tarantino and her fiance David Otunga.  But when is this wedding though? (We still don't know). When Jimmy asked about David's career in the WWE, Jen revealed that David Jr. likes to wrestle as well...but he prefers to use mommy as his opponent!  She also revealed that David Jr. had broken his leg recently while on a slide. "My little munchkin he broke his leg sliding down the slide. And they said the number 1 way children break their legs is sliding down the slide on someone's lap."  She then issued awarning to other parents of young kids, 'So don't let your kids do that, we learned the hard way." "He said mommy whats going to happen to my bad leg. Will I be able to ride again, can I ride my bike. He doesn't really understand', said Jen.   How cute! But David Jr. isn't letting the broken leg get him down. She said, "Its red. He thinks he's turned into the red power ranger right now. That's how we tricked him into the cast."
