But when it comes to the $100 million lawsuit Shakira is currently facing against her ex-lover, Antonio de la Rua, that claims he was her manager during their 11-year-relationship and that she owes him a significant chunk of her earnings, the Latino pop sensation is biting back...and with some serious VENGEANCE! In recently-filed legal documents responding to the suit, Shakira asserts that she was already an international star when she met Antonio in 2000, and while she did take his advice in some situations, he was never actually her manager, nor did she EVER sign any sort of contract that stated that he was! In fact, the only document the pair did think necessary to sign was an agreement in 2006 that if/when they did break-up, they would each keep their own assets! Well...that pretty much FLIES IN THE FACE of every single claim this guy made about her! Wonder if it will be enough proof for a judge to throw out Antonio's lawsuit entirely! Here's hoping! There's been all sorts of speculation since John Mayer and Katy Perry split regarding what exactly tore these two apart, with some rumors circulating that the singer's ex-husband, Russell Brand, somehow came between them, or even that the notorious womanizer was simply using her to promote recently-announced tour! But according to sources extremely close to the pair, it was nothing but their respectively busy schedules that led to the demise of their love! As insiders explain:

It's just a shame that if these feelings are still so strong, the pair couldn't find a way to re-prioritize some of their commitments and focus on making the relationship work! But who knows?! As we've reported, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are celebrating the fifth anniversary of their marriage with what looks to be a lovely, relaxing vacation to Cuba, but the location they chose is NOT sitting well with certain Cuban-American groups in Washington, D.C., due to the country's people still fighting for freedom and facing torture! In fact, US citizens are technically banned from traveling to the island for tourism purposes, and must obtain a travel license from the government! According to Mauricio Claver-Carone, who is a D.C. director for the lobbyist group US-Cuba Democracy PAC:

While those are obviously serious human rights issues that deserve to be addressed and resolved as quickly and with as less violence as possible, we doubt the superstars meant any ill-will or malice by choosing the destination of their trip! And believe us, you will be absolutely SHOCKED to hear just what a DEPARTURE it is from the former Disney starlet's earlier sound, when she was still performing with her band, The Scene! But don't take our word for it! Give it a listen yourself (below)! RIGHT?! It's DIFFERENT! But in a REALLY good way! A regular party attendee revealed that the parties consist usually of "only five dudes and about 42 girls," a couple of which are strippers while "the rest are just girls that everyone knows."
