CATCHING UP WITH AMERIIE: Short-Haired Ameriie & Her Husbandger Lenny Nicholson On A Dinner Date Posted: 14 Apr 2013 09:24 AM PDT In case you haven't noticed lately, singer Ameriie is still hot, cut her long locks into a short bob, and shes been married for almost 2 years now.  Check out pics of the "One Thing" chick out on a dinner date this weekend in Beverly Hills with her husband/manager Lenny Nicholson inside... She's still embarking on a music career, we think, but she's been much more vocal on her Twitter about politics and social awareness lately.  Most recently, she spilled her thoughts on people with mixed heritage, like herself, using hyphenates to describe themselves: I don't like term POC (Person of Color).The otherness is inherent in it. It's like saying 1person is simply a Person &the other is a POC......meanwhile we don't go around using term PWC (Person Without Color) bc what the heck is that anyway? Last I checked,everyone has coloring. She explained: Same reason I don't like hyphenates esp ___-American. I am not African-American. I am American & I am Black and Korean.   No Americans should be hyphenates bc really being an American already means your past descendants aren't originally from here... ..so hyphenating Asian- African- Indian- Americans is redundant. LADIES WHO LOGO: Ciara, Azealia Banks, Tamar Braxton & More Hit LOGO's "New Now Next" Awards! Posted: 14 Apr 2013 08:41 AM PDT Ciara, Azealia Banks, Tamar Braxton and more spent Saturday night at the LOGO "New Now Next" Awards at the W Hollywood.  Check out the ladies (plus a few men) putting on their best for the GLBT audience.... Ciara flaunted her killer bod in this black gown with a high slit to sow off her gams.  She topped off the look with white hot pumps and a perfect bun as she hit the carpet for the LOGO Awards:   Gorge as usual.  Chick knows what dresses work for her.   Ciara also played around with the pregnant Fergie on the red carpet. Tamar Braxton rocked a golden hooded Michael Costello creation to flatter her growing baby bump: How Grace Jones of her. Loves it. And the feisty Azealia Banks made an appearance at the awards, which some may think is interesting since she's been accused of making homophobic & gay slurs on Twitter toward her enemies:   As usual, the "Liquorice" rapper rocked a skin baring look, this one with a bondage type theme.  By the way, her latest Twitbeef is with male rappers A$AP Rocky & A$AP Nasty, accusing them of having a sexual relationship together and called out Rocky for having sex with a guy named "Kenneth from Harlem".  Goodness.   Ru Paul of "Ru Paul's Drag Race" hit the carpet in a blue suit and neon yellow button down with a hot pink belt.  Work. "Glee" star (and now Big Sean's boo) Naya Rivera made an appearance.  In case you're wondering i she's been looking different lately, you aren't the only one.  The half Puerto Rican, 1/4 African American and 1/4 German actress went from the innocent Cali girl look to now doing a transformation into much thinner--and thinner nose--dark exotic look.  We guess she's trying that J.Lo book of tricks witht he transformation and a rapper boyfriend to get the YBF culture to notice her.   And the show's host, Aisha Tyler of "The Talk," hit the stage in several costumes.  One of which was a sexed up Marie Antoinette as she posed with our fave "Shahs of Sunset" star, Reza!  Loves him.   She also hit the stage with her drag queen impersonator.     And rocked out with this look too.  Gotta love it. The NewNowNext LOGO Awards celebrate the latest in music, TV & movies, fashion, design, travel, beauty and health.  Fab!   The Randomness: 1.  In case you care, Gucci Mane got arrested for a probation violation yesterday, 1 day after his release. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Miguel Rocks The "SNL" Stage With "How Many Drinks" & "Adorn" Posted: 14 Apr 2013 07:25 AM PDT Miguel is having his best year ever.  The May 2013 VIBE cover guy and just announced 2013 Made In America festival performer just made his "SNL" debut last night.  Check out Mr. "Adorn" flexing his musical skills with a sexy rock twist to his tracks for his big TV performance last night.... Miguel gave us his best Prince vibe last night for his "SNL" debut.  Check out his live performances of "Adorn" & "How Many Drinks" below that he remixed just for TV:   We could listen to this dude all day....

DMX's FULL "Fix My Life" Episode + DMX Now Says Iyanla Vanzant MADE HIS LIFE WORSE! Posted: 14 Apr 2013 06:50 AM PDT Iyanala Vanzant spent her 90 minute premiere of her show "Fix My Life" trying to help DMX.  The rapper definitely needs long term and in depth help for his drug issues and a possible mental illness.  Check out how Iyana attempted to help out X in a controversial and extremely intense episode, and why X feels like Iyanla ruined his life even more instead... Maybe X isn't feeling the saying "It has to get worse before it gets better."  Because after filming last night's episode of OWN's "Fix My Life," the rapper issued a statement through his team that says he doesn't condone Iyanla airing the episode because he didn't give consent afterwards.  And he didn't give consent because he felt that she used the opportunity to rail him on his drug use.  He says his life has not been fixed, but it's now been made "worse." AllHipHop.com talked to his team who said: “DMX agreed to be a guest on ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’ with the understanding that she would be helping his relationships with his 10 children,” the statement says. “When he arrived for the taping, most of the content was focused on his struggles with drugs and poor parenting. Iyanla did not ‘fix’ DMX’s life just made his image worse, and does not have DMX’s personal written consent to use the footage.“ In the full hard-to-watch episode above, you'll see Iyanla digging deep into X's past to get to the true root of his problems with why he feels he needs multiple women, why his relationship with his 10 kids is horrible, his many many arrests and his drug & possible mental issues. Of course, none of these problems are surface issues, they all have deep rooted beginnings that must be dug up--especially from childhood--in order for a person to get "fixed."  But X fought back, popped off on Iyanla a few times, and appeared hurt by one of his sons who said he had zero respect for X. Check out the full episode above and decide for yourselves if X was simply railed for entertainment value, or if this intense therapy was needed in order to get to a better place. As for what he's up to next, his team says: “What the team does want DMX’s fans to know is that he is working on a new album that will include Swizz Beatz and we hope to also work with Timbaland, Dr. Dre, and Kanye West.  Another announcement is his upcoming film ‘Blame It On The Hustle’ Mekhi Phifer and Ving Rhames.” We wish him the absolute best.

COACHELLA FAB: Nas, Kelly Rowland & More Chill Out In Cali Posted: 13 Apr 2013 07:00 PM PDT Coachella's bringing out tons of celebs to the big festival outside of Palm Springs.  And we've got the few YBFers that made their way out to Cali.  Pics of Kelly Rowland, Nas and more partying it up... Kelly Rowland looked festival ready in this sexy sheer maxi dress as she hit the Hard Rock pool party today at Coachella. Effortlessly hot as always. And at Hennessy V.S's midnight concert with Nas, Mr. Jones himself looked sexy as hell before taking the stage to perform: Mmhmmmm. Nasir played host for the Hennessy presents DETAILS @ Midnight party and then hit the stage in front of over 1,500 party goers at a private residence in Bermuda Dunes in Indio, California.  Clearly kicking off Coachella right. Karrueche Tran stopped by Nas' party in her Jeremy Scott by Adidas bathing suit and cut off shorts.   And today, 2 Chainz took over one of the tents at Coachella:    From the flip glasses to the leather pants, dude was all in his 90's vibe.  He showed up 18 minutes late and pissed the crowd off since they started boo'ing, but everybody seemed to forgive him once he hit the stage. FASHION FACE OFF: Nicki Minaj VS. Karrueche Tran In JEREMY SCOTT For ADIDAS Posted: 13 Apr 2013 02:55 PM PDT Ladies love Jeremy Scott.  But decide who rocked the designer's new modelicious face printed bathing suit best...  Karrueche tran made her way to Hennessy V.S's midnight concert featuring Nas for Coachella's kick off night yesterday.  And she rocked the printed face bathing suit by Jeremy Scott for Adidas ($95) with hippie cut off shorts.  She kept it cool with hoop earrings and a necklace as she partied away at the biggest spring music & arts festival of the year. But we first saw the Jeremy Scott for Adidas bathing suit on Nicki Minaj in her April 2013 spread in ELLE magazine.  She paired her photoshoot look with black Salvatore Ferragamo pants and a simple gunmetal link bracelet. And it seems to be a popular look for spring as Karrueche's rival she previously Twitter beef'd with, Rihanna's bestie Melissa Forde, rocked the exact same suit yesterday during her birthday pool party: Ha.   So....
