LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian celebrate their first wedding anniversary Posted: 22 Apr 2012 08:01 AM PDT LeAnn Rimes celebrated her first wedding anniversary to Eddie Cibrian this weekend. She celebrated as she celebrates everything… on Twitter. She tweeted the whole damn day yesterday – go to her Twitter feed to see. It's insane. I think at one point she said she was going to stop tweeting to celebrate, but she just kept on going. So… what does the kept man who has everything get for his anniversary? LeAnn bought Eddie a watch. Meh. You know he wanted a bigger toy – like a sports car or a motorcycle. Or a boat. Maybe LeAnn couldn't afford to keep buying her man all of the "gifts" he wants? As for what Eddie gave her… I don't know. Their real anniversary is today, and she says he was making her wait. She did tweet a photo of a flower – how funny would it be if Eddie just gave her flowers for their anniversary? Who am I kidding? LeAnn totally told him exactly what she wanted and she gave him the money to buy it, whatever it is. She’s not ready to spill all her secrets about her relationship with Eddie Cibrian in a book, but LeAnn Rimes is happy to dish about the couples’ first anniversary via Twitter. Reflecting back on their April 22, 2011 nuptials, the country singer gushed to her followers: “A year ago this weekend was [so] perfect.” Rimes got emotional even before the duo started celebrating the happy occasion. “OMG crying at anniversary cards, someone slap me!” she tweeted Thursday. And it seemed she couldn’t wait to kick off the festivities. “I gave Eddie his anniversary gift early,” Rimes, 29, tweeted the next day. “I can never wait! He was so cute. He loved it so much, he wore it to bed. For you dirty minds, it was a watch. I just thought that was super cute. All boys, no matter what age love their toys a lot.” She and her hubby were spotted enjoying a romantic, PDA-filled lunch at Toscanova restaurant in Calabassas, Calif. later on Friday. Rimes first met the actor, 38, when they costarred together in the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. At the time, both were married to other people — Cibrian to makeup artist Brandi Glanville, mother to his sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 4; Rimes to backup dancer turned chef Dean Sheremet — and Us Weekly broke news of their ongoing extramarital affair in March 2009. [From Us Weekly] People Magazine also notes that on Friday, LeAnn and Eddie had an early anniversary lunch at Toscanova in Calabasas – they ate beef carpaccio and chicken paillard and they fondled each other throughout the meal. A source tells People, “All throughout their meal, they’d steal kisses or hold hands… They looked incredibly happy together. He had his arm around her shoulder and she would rest her head on the nook of his neck with her eyes closed.” Gross. I mean, congrats. I actually do hope that LeAnn and Eddie last… for a while, at least. I hope they last for two reasons: one, it's more fun for me, the viewer, to see a marriage which is based on a man marrying his stalker; and two, LeAnn is going to go absolutely INSANE if this marriage doesn't work out. Kate Bosworth and her boyfriend got to go last weekend – this weekend belonged to Alexander Skarsgard! It's funny when a couple breaks up and they fight about who gets custody of the music festival. The Bos and The Skarsgard are literally sharing custody of Coachella. As you can see, Alex was having a good time this weekend, drinking beer, hanging out with friends, looking surly for the paparazzi. I want to think that Alex genuinely did not want to be photographed. I want to think he genuinely went there for the music, and to have fun. I don't know, though. All I can really focus on is his arms and how gigantic he is. Am I alone in wanting to take him shopping, though? I want to buy him some new pants and t-shirts. He can be comfortable and wear clothes that fit AND have it be fashionable. Emma Roberts really hopes you're paying attention to her. Hey, remember when she was all, "I'm going to be a college student now!"? And then she was like, "OMG, college totally interferes with my partying and famewhoring, I quit!" Good times. One of these things is not like the other, The Melanie Griffith Edition. WTF is she doing there? Dita Von Teese was there, but she didn't bring her gorgeous French boyfriend, like she did last year. Chelsea Handler is still bad-mouthing Angelina Jolie in interviews, surprise Posted: 22 Apr 2012 07:27 AM PDT I'm about to shock you! Chelsea Handler, star of a vodka-soaked empire, is once again talking about how much she dislikes Angelina Jolie. As you know, Chelsea is faithfully Team Aniston – Chelsea used to make fun of Jennifer Aniston (and everyone else) until Chelsea decided to befriend certain tabloid "sweethearts" and use her act to screech at Angelina Jolie specifically. Chelsea has gone off on Angelina so many times, calling Angelina "a f–king c–t" and a "homewrecker" and making racist jibes at the Jolie-Pitt children. Chelsea also name-drops Jennifer Aniston into nearly every interview she does. And lest you think that "Oh, Aniston doesn't cosign this…" – sure, you could believe that. Aniston and Handler are tight, though. Chelsea comes to all of Aniston's premieres, Chelsea came (and spoke at) Aniston's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, and they consistently vacation together. Anyway, Chelsea has a new interview. Guess what she talks about? Jennifer Aniston's loyal close pal Chelsea Handler has blasted Angelina Jolie as "the opposite of a girl's girl," saying: "You just know as a woman, when you see another woman, if that's a woman you can trust." Handler, when asked to describe the opposite of a girl's girl, says in a story in More's May issue: "Probably Angelina Jolie . . . She [Jolie] doesn't strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with." The "Chelsea Lately" host counts Aniston as one of her closest friends. But while sources say Aniston is happy for her newly engaged ex, Brad Pitt, and Jolie, Handler has refused to apologize for calling Jolie a "home wrecker." Handler also talks for the first time about being "madly in love" with hotelier André Balazs — from whom she split last year and reunited with in February. She tells the magazine, out Tuesday: "My boyfriend, André . . . We just got back together literally yesterday. We had dated for nine months, a long-distance relationship with all the stresses and traveling and running around. It wasn't a real life; we weren't living together. "So, André came to me yesterday and said, 'I think we have to try to make this work again.' And I agreed because we're still madly in love, and he has done a lot of the things I've asked him to, and I've done a lot of the stuff he's asked me to . . . It's just a matter of . . . understanding each other better — getting to know what the other person's needs are and not basing all your behavior on your own desire." While he's New York-based, her show is filmed in LA. "Sometimes you don't want to fly five hours to go see somebody, but sometimes that person needs you there," she says. I'm sure some people think the exact opposite – that Chelsea and Jennifer Aniston seem like they would be horrible people to be friends with. That's all just a matter of opinion, and everyone's entitled. But Jesus Christ, does Chelsea have anything else to talk about? Don't these character attacks – on Angelina specifically – get old? I don't even feel like it's part of any comedic "act" – it's just Chelsea obsessively maintaining her "Team Aniston" status in interviews, in her act, on her show, and everywhere else. Kim Kardashian’s kat-face spent another weekend in NYC with Kanye West Posted: 22 Apr 2012 06:59 AM PDT Yesterday, a loyal reader sent CB and me an email about Kim Kardashian's krazy kat-face. The subject line was "WTF happened to Kat-face's face?" She was talking about Kim's face in these photos, where Kim, Khloe and Kris Jenner were all in Chicago to promote one of the Kardashian Klothing Kollection at Sears. As you can see, Kim looks especially Botoxed, orange'd and busted. My basic take on Kim's face at this point: she should really stop with the lip injections to her upper lip. She's going overboard, and it messes up her whole face. In other Kat-face news, apparently she went right from Chicago to New York so she and Kanye West could have another date. We don't have the photos – you can see one here. Keeping Up With Kimye! Kim Kardashian and her new beau Kanye West made their second appearance as a couple during another shopping trip in New York City Saturday. Decked out in leather pants, heels and a Celine bag, the reality star, 31, and the rapper, 34, browsed the racks at Balenciaga and made a stop at the popular Van Leeuwenhoek ice cream truck. “They had drinks at the Mercer Hotel Friday night, then shopped all day,” a source tells Us Weekly. And it sounded like Kardashian was having a great time. “Hi dolls! I’m so happy to be in NYC with the whole fam! Fun week! Have a good weekend guys!” she wrote to her followers on Twitter. The longtime pals took their romance public in the Big Apple April 5 — where they grabbed lunch at Serafina’s, shopped at FAO Schwarz and luxe department store Jeffrey’s, among other excursions. Though she’s downplayed romance rumors before, Kardashian has always been close with West; in February, she flew to Paris, France to sit front row at his fashion show. The rapper, on the other hand, is open about his feelings for Kardashian. He seemed to reference Kardashian in his new song “Way Too Cold,” (originally entitled “Theraflu”). Rapping about ex-girlfriend Amber Rose’s relationship with fiance Wiz Khalifa, West says, “I fell in love with Kim around the same time she fell in love with him.” Indeed, a pal tells Us Weekly that West “has been genuinely head over heels for [Kim] for a while.” [From Us Weekly] So are we calling this their "second" date? I think they've been fooling around for a while – probably years, but definitely for the past year. I wonder why Kanye has just now decided that he and Kim should be all official. It feels like stunt-queen drama, but who knows? They exhaust me. One last thing – Kris Jenner posted this photo of Kim sleeping in her bed. Because that's not creepy at all, right? Not the whole "a mother who loves that her adult daughter still curls up in her bed like a kid" thing. That's kind of cute. The fact that Kris posted it to Twitter is what I find creepy. The British and American tabloids were all claiming that Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford's wedding was imminent, and Radar said everything was going down this weekend – and they were right! Carey and Marcus were married yesterday, Saturday, in Somerset, England. I was right too – Kate Moss made it cool for hipsters to get married in the English countryside again. Carey and Marcus got hitched on an honest-to-God FARM. And they had some big celebrity guests too! Carey Mulligan is a married woman! The Drive actress wed Marcus Mumford at a farm in Somerset, England in front of approximately 100 guests, including family and celeb pals, Sienna Miller, Colin Firth and Jake Gyllenhaal, on Saturday, Us Weekly has confirmed. After just five months together, the Mumford & Sons singer, 24, popped the question to the British star, 26, in August 2011. “They’re a great couple,” a pal told Us of the duo who were childhood pen pals in London. “Very sweet.” Things first got serious when Mulligan and Gyllenhaal caught a secret Mumford & Sons show in Nashville, Tenn. February 2011 at the home of band members from The Apache Relay. “At the end of the night there were just the musicians, Jake, Carey, and the Mumford boys,” an insider told Us at the time. “We had some pizza, and just played music. Jake picked up a guitar and Carey joined in on ‘Amazing Grace.’ Marcus and Carey seemed really friendly.” A few days later, Mulligan and Mumford caught a secret Arcade Fire show in NYC before hitting up a private members only club, a second insider told Us. And I love that Colin Firth came! I want to have a wedding just so Colin Firth will come. Carey is also supposed to be very tight with Emma Thompson – I wonder if Emma and Greg Wise were there? More details – Marcus's dad is a vicar, and he performed the ceremony. British sources claim Carey's dress was Versace. Something in ivory, and backless. Peaches Geldof, 23, gave birth to baby boy Astala Cohen this week Posted: 22 Apr 2012 06:09 AM PDT Goodness, Peaches Geldof's pregnancy went by in a flash, didn't it? Peaches gave birth to a baby boy at some point over the past few days – maybe Thursday or Friday? The announcement just says "this week” – Peaches said before that she was due on her late mother’s birthday, April 24, so I guess the baby just wanted to come out a little bit early. Peaches and her fiancé Thomas Cohen named their son Astala… which sounds like a name from Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia. Or both. I think Peaches' pregnancy seemed to go by so quickly because she and Thomas only announced it in January, when she was already well into her second trimester. Plus, Peaches wasn't bashing us over the head with pregnancy TMI – she and Thomas did a Hello Magazine cover interview, and she's been tweeting about stuff here and there, but it's not like Jessica Simpson's TMI Pregnancy Extravaganza. Speaking of, Jessica is STILL pregnant. Everybody is having their babies but Jessica. Here's more about Peaches: British socialite Peaches Geldof, the daughter of Live Aid founder Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, gave birth to a son Astala. “Yes, it’s true – I’M A MUMMY!!!!” the 23-year-old model wrote on Twitter Saturday. The baby, with fiance Thomas Cohen, lead singer of the band S.C.U.M, is her first. She added later: “My little boy is the most beautiful thing in this world. When he holds @tomfromscum’s finger with his hand its the sweetest thing ever. X” Cohen, 20, also shared the news on Twitter: “I’m a dad he is the most perfect thing ever so proud of his beautiful mum @peaches_g and overcome with joy x.” Geldof, who’s full name is Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof, revealed her son’s a similarly long moniker (Astala Dylan Willow Cohen-Geldof) to Hello magazine a few weeks ago. At 19 she made news for marrying Max Drummey, frontman of the band Chester French, in Las Vegas. They announced their separation shortly after.
