Barbra Streisand Celebrates The Big 7-0 With Travolta & Spielberg!!!

Like the goddess she is, Barbra Streisand's 70th birthday sparkled and shined from here to Broadway!

Tuesday night, she was showered with wishes from John Travolta and Steven Spielberg in sexy Malibu!!

We hear the party was super intimate ... with just a dash of extravagance.

But we'll let her tell you!! She describes it very well, saying:

It was a magical event with only very close friends, people I've known and loved more than 20 years. The highlight of the evening was my son's film that he made for me. People kept asking, 'Who is that singing?' And when I said it was Jason, everyone was blown away by the beauty and soulfulness of his voice. Quincy Jones wanted to sign him on the spot.

My friends made it an evening of surprises for me, flying in the remarkable Israeli mentalist Lior Suchard and gifting me with the performance of my favorite singer, Johnny Mathis, and many, many more highlights.

Awww... Johnny, your life is made now isn't it?? LOLz!

Other celebrity guests included Pierce Brosnan, Kenny G, Warren Beatty, Diane Lane, and Josh Brolin (her stepson, FYI)!!

So needless to say, Taverna Tony was POP-POP-POPPIN!!!

Happy Birthday, beautiful!!! We hope you really live it up this year! Maybe go on an exotic location... maybe take us with you, ha!

The Avengers Blows Up Box Office Records Overseas

As predicted, The Avengers is off to an amazing start overseas by breaking all sorts of opening day records.

After being released in just 10 territories on Wednesday, the Marvel superhero epic has earned $17.1 million.

Not only did the movie score the second-highest opening ever in Australia (behind the final Harry Potter film) by raking in an easy $6 million there, it landed the biggest opening day in New Zealand and Taiwan!

That's just a taste of what is to come. Analysts expect the movie to earn upwards of $150 million during it's first weekend in the United States.

We'll see U in line on next Friday!

Jennie Garth To Star In Nancy Grace Lifetime Movie!

Jennie Garth has signed on star in a Lifetime movie! Oh, but not just any Lifetime movie...

The former 90210 star is going to star in the movie adaptation of Nancy Grace's attempt to be John Grisham first legal novel, Eleventh Victim.

Because life is awesome, the film version of Grace's legal thriller was written by the same dude that wrote Darkness Falls.

Mmmm.... that's the sweet smell of a soopa dramatic made-for-TV MASTERPIECE!

We are SO happy Jennie is getting work!

Recently, the mother of three has been making the talk-show rounds to promote her new reality show talk about her high profile divorce from Peter Facinelli -- and honestly she looks like she could use a break.

Florence & The Machine's Battle Cry For Snow White And The Huntsman!

THIS. IS. EPIC.

Florence and the Machine have managed to capture the ESSENCE of dark fantasy in their new call-to-arms tune Breath Of Life, specifically created for the upcoming fairytale re-imagining, Snow White and the Huntsman.

This may be one of our FAVORITE soundtrack songs EVER!

Not only is it a powerhouse track in its own right, the rise and fall in tempo and magnitude draws the listener in, making one feel like he or she is right beside Snow White (Kristen Stewart), readying for a fight to the death against the evil, witchy Queen (Charlize Theron)!

A perfect compliment to a film we HOPE will be decadently deviant and AMAZING.

Florence and the Machine DID NOT disappoint... we hope the movie lives up to the song!

Busy Phillips Wants Her Bestie Michelle Williams To Come To Cougar Town!

Oh, come on!

Who knows if we'll ever get a Dawson's Creek reunion, but this could be an awesome opportunity to AT LEAST have a small one!

Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips have been friends since they co-starred together on the WB drama as Jen Lindley and Audrey Liddell back in the day, and apparently, the latter has been trying to get her bestie on her current show, Cougar Town...but the show creator may have missed his opportunity!

She explains:

"This is not a joke—we can give [Cougar Town cocreator] Bill Lawrence all the s--t we want for it. At the beginning of the show, in the first season, I told him, 'My friend Michelle Williams wants to guest star on the show.' And he's like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah.' And they never did anything with it! And then she was nominated for her third Academy Award and they're like, 'Hey, maybe one of your friends would wanna…?' I said, 'I told you season one that she would do it! You lost her now to the third Academy Award nomination.' It would be great. I want her to play my bookish sister who hates me."

Oh man! That would just be FANTASTIC!

And anyone who has seen the movie Dick knows just how good Michelle Williams is at comedy!

But seriously! Busy, James Van Der Beek, and Joshua Jackson are ALL on TV shows!

WHY haven't the Creek kids all been reunited on one of them yet?!

Everyone has said that they are down!

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez (and some other friends) brushed up on their culinary skillz recently, baking up some cupcakes as BFFs do!

Selena Instagrammed the pics (above), with a caption that read:

"Because you need a best friend that's sings beautifully, another best friend to dance with you and another to listen. Oh and cupcakes... Cupcakes."

We think they should totes open up a cupcakery now, LOLz!

Justin Bieber To Perform With…Elvis?!

Hologram Tupac has definitely sparked a trend, because now it seems EVERY late star is going to be raised from the dead undergo a hologram transformation!

This is all starting to get a bit CRAY!

Though HoloPac will not be joining Dr. Dre on tour, there have recently been talks of Michael Jackson and TLC's Left Eye getting hologrammed...and now, Elvis wants in on the fun!

Sounds like the folks over at Musion Technology Ltd., the company who brought the Tupac hologram to Coachella, are only getting started!

When asked who's next, the company's Head of Music Sanj Surati said bringing Elvis on stage with Justin Bieber "would be a cool thing."

Hmm...maybe they could "collaborate" on a new duet called Blue Suede Baby??? How about Jailhouse Boyfriend? Ha!

As for other top picks to be made into holographic creations?

Surati revealed:

"Kurt Cobain, oh and Michael Jackson would be the ultimate one. Maybe even Whitney Houston."

Okay, we can understand MJ, but Whitney, though? TOO SOON!

How long will it be until LIVING artists start using holograms instead of canceling shows and appearances?!

We wonder if this whole hologram trend will actually stick around...or if it'll just fizzle...er...fade out.

The Killers' Saxophone Player Commits Suicide!

What!?! We weren't expecting this one!!!

Tommy Marth was an incredibly talented saxophone player for The Killers.

We always LOVED that part of their music so much.

But sadly, the musician was found dead in his Las Vegas home Monday morning, with the cause of death reportedly being suicide.

The band shared their grief in the aftermath in a statement, saying:

Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There's a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy.

Super sad!

He was only 33 years old!!!

Rest in peace, Tommy... we're sending our thoughts to your friends and family.

Usher Screams Us Into A Dancing Frenzy!

It's a formulaic, classic club track for sure...

Usher has JUST debuted the bumpin' tune Scream from his seventh album, Looking For Myself, and while it's very similar to MANY synth-fuelled dance tracks, we can't deny it makes our shoulders shimmy!

We WERE hoping for a little more original oomph from Usher, but we can always dig ourselves some poppy, bum-shaking beats...

It's grand for getting PUMPED at the gym, or for when you just need to SCREAM... in the form of spazzed-out dancing!
