VIDEO: Nicki Minaj Brings Her "Starships" To "The Today Show"

Nicki Minaj made an appearance on "The Today Show" this morning to continue pubbing her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album in an all black revealing mesh outfit.  After running into Kim K. on the set (who told Ann Curry she's excited what the future holds for her & Kanye West & loves his new song "Mercy" which is partially about her), Nicki chatted up Matt Lauer about her "fashion" choices and making her own decisions.

Of course Matt was taken aback by Nicki's morning look.  So he asked Nicki how she decides what to wear each day, to which she answered, "It's always very impromptu. I hate planning stuff. Yesterday actually I told my stylist 'I've been doing so much color recently, just get me black. Put me in black. Black, black, black everything."

New York City’s legendary Highline Stages provided the setting for Hennessy’s "Wild Rabbit" campaign launch last night.  Solange Knowles showed up looking fab as always as she hit the 1's and 2's, plus Erykah Badu, Missy Elliot, Gabby Union & more partied alongside director Martin Scorsese.  Pics inside...

The night’s soundtrack was provided by Solange, who rocked a cute one-shoulder tribal inspired frock, and D-Nice. 

And a surprise performance by Timbaland and Missy Elliott too. Erykah Badu closed the show with her own set.

2012 Superbowl winner Devin Thomas gets sexy in the latest issue of "YRB" Magazine where he talks about the type of woman he wants and all his sexy tats.  Also, Angela Simmons got cutesy for the latest issue of "GHUBAR" Magazine.  Get deets on their interviews inside....

 

In the latest issue of "YRB" Magazine, handsome baller Devin Thomas (who recently left the GIANTS to play for The Bears) reveals what it feels like to be a Superbowl champion and explains  why he continues to add to his body ink.  He talks about his female admirers and reveals what he wants in a woman too.  (Oh yeah...did we mention he's newly single?) Here are the highlights:  

On winning the Superbowl:

I was so exhausted after that game. I was on the plane ride home and it was amazing to realize we were going to the Super Bowl. And I had a hand in it,” Thomas reveals. “We went through so much that season as a team. It felt great. To be playing on the special teams and make something happen at such an important time to help the team. To be ‘Johnny-on-the-spot’ couldn’t have been any sweeter. I just noticed the one fumble hit the opponent’s knee and sprang to get my hands on that ball. Obviously, it was tense when the game went to overtime. When I jumped on the ball that second fumble and knew that we were in field goal range already, I was ecstatic. I couldn’t wish it any better.”

On getting tattoos:

“Over the past couple of days, I had my artist come through and sharpen up some of my work. Turn my gladiator piece into HD - High Definition. I’m a very artistic type of person. I like to express myself, and my skin is a canvas. If there are important elements in my life, I relish in the fact that I can wear those elements on my sleeve or on my leg. It represents who I am on the inside; it represents my mentality.”

On female admirers:

“It’s charming and it’s very much appreciated that women find me attractive,” says Thomas. “But there is more to me than my looks. I definitely don’t want to be with somebody that thinks  I’m just eye candy. I’m ready for somebody to get in tune with me. That’s the way that I get down.

“I’m looking for a woman I can talk to.  Someone I can have a good time with. I’m not looking for anyone to pressure me into doing anything crazy. I would like to find somebody to develop something with. I’m definitely not trying to be rushed, but I’m open to meeting someone who is real and patient.”

Vanessa Williams REVEALS She Was SEXUALLY ABUSED By A Woman At 10 Years Old

In her shocking new memoir, titled You Have No Idea, "Desperate Housewives" actress Vanessa Williams reveals details about the sexual abuse she suffered as a child by a family friend.  Get the details inside and find out what she thinks about her Miss America scandal now.

 

"Desperate Housewives" actress Vanessa Williams dazzled on the red carpet last night for the Broadway premiere of Evita.  She looked fab in a sparkling bronze top, which she paired with a metallic leopard print skirt and blazer with chain trim. 

But while Vanessa looked happy on the red carpet, she recently revealed a tragic event from her childhood in her new memoir, You Have No Idea.

Co-written by her mom Helen, Vanessa talked openly about being molested when she was just 10-years-old by an 18-year-old female family friend.

Vanessa wrote:

‘Family friends who had a daughter invited me to visit their friends in California with them. The family we stayed in had two kids.’
Describing her attacker she said: ‘Susan, who was 18, smoked, drove a car and was the epitome of cool. [My friend] Nancy and I slept in the den. One night Susan crept in.’ ‘She told me to lie down on the rug. I was confused. Are we going to play a game? As I tried to make sense of it, Susan pulled down the bloomers of my cotton baby-doll pajamas. “What are you doing?” I asked. “Don’t worry – it’ll feel good”

‘I lay there paralyzed. What was going on? I didn’t speak. She kept at [the molestation] for I don’t know how long. She slid my bloomers back up and whispered: “Don’t tell anyone.”’

Vanessa says she didn't realize she had been abused until she was in college.  

 ‘For years I kept Susan’s visit to myself. I didn’t really understand until college. I was with my boyfriend and it hit me and I blurted out: “Oh my god - I was molested.”’

And as we all know, she'd go one to suffer another tragedy as her Miss America crown (she was the first African American to win the title) was ripped away from her in the 80s. Reflecting on that experience, she said, 'It was part of my journey that led me to them and to where I am today.'

 

 

 

Gabrielle Union Speaks On Dwyane Wade's Ex-Wife Siohvaughn...And Why She Kept Quiet About Homewrecker Rumors

Think Like A Man star Gabrielle Union is revealing for the first time her relationship with her boyfriend Dwyane Wade's ex-wife Siohvaughn...and why Gabby herself chose to keep quiet about those homewrecker rumors (but still fought the court battles against Sioh privately).

 

We've got the first glimpse into Gabby's upcoming JET magazine cover story about Sioh's lawsuits and Gabby's current relationship with her...

In the upcoming April 16th edition of JET Magazine, Ms. Union maintains that she's still every bit the girl next door she used to be.  Despite the messy divorce her Miami Heat star boyfriend, Dwyane Wade, just tackled...with Gabby getting dragged into the mix as well.  Siohvaughn sued Gabby for being an alleged homewrecker and for allegedly being detrimental to Dwyane & Sioh's 2 sons' well being.  Sioh claimed that around the boys, Gabby allegedly used foul language and dressed inappropriately.

Gabby reveals for the first time, in a story title "Crazy Messy Love," that she didn't rebut the homewrecking rumors and lawsuit for the sake of the kids.  And that she could related to Siovaughn's crazy antics since Gabby was "that" girl who attacked her own ex-husband's new girlfriend as well.

On why she didn't publicly defend her reputation against rumors she cheated with Dwyane while he was married

"The kids.  For the people that hire me, it's a non issue.  But at the end of the day, Dwyane's kids are going to be the ones who really suffer.  They're 10 and 4 and a half.  They're old enough to understand the mean things that strangers can say."

On feeling bullied by her fans who believed she was "the other woman"

"I think people mistook me taking the high road as an admission of guilt.  Dwyane and I made a decision very early to not react to the negativity.  And I kept feeling like the truth would come out.  The problem is, when it did, nobody cared.  What I discovered on social media is that people don't read the entire story."

On handling Siohvaughn's lawsuits alleging Gabby as a homewrecker and detrimental to her kids

"I fought it.  My life is just too easy to track.  So, we were submitting plenty of proof for the times she said I was in Miami.  So, it was like, obviously you're not telling the truth.  And then the courts dismissed the case."

On her current relationship with Siovaughn

"I've never had one.  I wasn't involved then-because I wasn't involved with their marriage--and I don't have one now."

On contemplating breaking up with Dwyane because of the divorce turmoil

I did a lot of talking with girlfriends and sorting through my feelings about the madness.  This kind of love is a gift.  It's so consistent.  There's no way that I would trade it for people who refuse to simply acknowledge the truth.

Kanye & Kim Shop & Play, While THERAFLU Is UNIMPRESSED With Kanye's New Song

Kanye may have made a whole bunch of folks happy when he released new music last night, but the Theraflu company is anything but.  Check out what the cold company had to say about 'Ye's new "Theraflu" track, and his latest NYC adventures with Kim K....

Kim & Kanye decided to work off their lunch from earlier today by playing on the BIG piano and with the toy soldiers over at FAO Schwartz just a little while ago.  Oh, and if you're wondering why these two are all over the place with each other all of a sudden, reportedly Kim is in the midst of filming a new season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."  So...yeah:

The twosome were spotted having some fun in the toystore before heading over to Jeffrey's in the Meatpacking District for some shopping:

 

But while 'Ye is caught up in the media storm of hopping around town with his boo-of-the-moment, Theraflu, the company, is calling foul on his new track.  They said in a statement today about his explicit song:

"We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner."

Have a feeling somebody's gonna have to cough up some cash.  Cough....get it...nevermind....

Alicia Keys Gets EDGY For VIBE's April/May 2012 Cover, Sits Down With Hubby Swizz Beatz

Alicia Keys is VIBE Magazine's April/May 2012 cover girl as they celebrate their 2nd Annual Global Issue.  Check out her cover, plus our exclusive outtake from the issue, and an excerpt from her interview she did alongside her hubby Swizz Beatz.

 

Rocking her ridiculously beautiful canary diamond wedding ring, Alicia Keys is being her usual earthy yet edgy self in the new issue of VIBE magazine.  In YBF's exclusive outtake shot, Alicia rocks only a red leather jacket and a set of colorful strings in place of a shirt, and her black lipstick.  She dishes on the love she shares with her husband in her first real interview in years.  And yes, her man Swizz (Kasseem Dean) was a part of the interview too.

An excerpt from their cover story:

“It was the craziest thing,” says Dean, leaning forward in his chair. “We had a work lunch with some people, and I get home and look in the back pocket—"

"My credit card was in his pocket,” Keys finishes the story, eyes wide. “Why was my credit card in his pocket?”

One explanation might be that he’d grabbed it by accident when they split the check, but that would be too prosaic. They saw the credit card debacle as a sign, the first of many. Well, second, if you count the time, 14 years ago, when they first met and Dean tried unsuccessfully to get her number from his friend. “It wasn’t our time yet,” he says with a smile.

She told USA Today, 

"I'm not viewing this as a diet.  I'm not putting a number on it. I don't look at the scale. I'm going about it in a different way this time."

POST-COITAL LUNCH?: Kanye West & Kim K. Grab Grub In NYC

Kanye West just took his apparent new boo, Kim K., to lunch at Serafina this afternoon.  The two were spotted exiting the restaurant--all smiles--just hours after Kim was spotted leaving Kanye's apartment this morning wearing the same thing she wore on their movie date last night.

From Hunger Games to feeding their, um, hunger, Kanye & Kim were spotted fleeing out of Serafina restaurant in NYC after a lunch date today.  The twosome exited separately--but obviously--into an awaiting car with a serious amount of paparazzi cameras swarming them.

Reportedly, people in their camp told photogs they're on their way to the big toystore FAO Schwartz. 

With two big egos like this....can't wait to see whose actually wins.

Nicki Minaj Gets PRINT HAPPY In Philly+Sneak Peek At Aaliyah's NEW VH1 "Behind The Music"

Nicki Minaj is still all over the place pubbing her sophomore release (which dropped this past Tuesday), Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.  And yesterday, she popped up in Philly at the F.Y.E. store to sign copies of her album for fans.

Nicki and SB headed to Philidelphia last night to say wassup to fans and sign some cds:

This outfit is many things.  And so is this makeup.  And we'll leave it at that.

On a happier note, Nicki is predicted to push 200K-250K units of Roman Reloaded this first week, according to Hits Daily Double.  And her sophomore LP will likely come in at #1.

And inside the May 2012 issue, President Obama's better half reveals what's important to the couple in raising their two daughters, Sasha (10) & Malia (13):

“Barack and I feel that our greatest responsibility is to raise two productive, respectful, kind empathetic young women.  My husband talks to our girls about how he expects men in their lives to treat them, and he offers examples by how he treats me and how he treats them.”

Kim Kardashian SPOTTED On a Movie Date With Kanye West...And Leaving Kanye's Apartment The Morning After, While Amber Goes VIRGIN

CAUGHT!  After Kanye West's big reveal last night on his "Theraflu" track about falling for Kim Kardashian, the twosome were spotted out on a movie date last night.  Not to mention Kim's walk of shame THIS MORNING after leaving his NYC apartment!

 

Meanwhile, 'Ye's ex Amber Rose was among the passengers for Virgin Airlines inaugural flight to Philadelphia.  Get the deets inside...

Amber Rose was among the first travelers to take flight aboard Virgin Airlines new route to Philadelphia.  The Philly native apparently struck a chord with Virgin Airlines billionaire owner Sir Richard Branson.Sir Richard Branson so he tapped her to be a "celebrity" rider.

She partied it up on the plane with Seth Green.

 

 

Later, the group attended a party at Hotel Palomar in Philly.    

 

Meanwhile, it seems like Kim and Kanye are hooking up AGAIN!  TMZ has pics of the two (CLICK THE LINK TO VIEW THE PICS AS WE CAN'T POST THEM HERE) leaving a movie date in New York where they saw Hunger Games.....hmmmm.

A while back Amber accused Kim Kardashian of sleeping with Kanye while they were together. Kim denied anything was going on and that she and Kanye were never involved.  She even laughed him off.  But it seems Kanye is back to filling his appetite with a bit of Kim.  Sources claim the relationship is 'just starting'' and that Kanye had been chasing Kim for a while.

And she could have justified the movie date as just a friendly outing (as you know she would have)....had she not been spotted on the walk of shame early this morning leaving Kanye's Soho apartment!  Kim left Kanye's luxe apartment wearing the same outfit she wore the evening before when they were seen at a movie theater--minus the furry jacket. She left the apartment flanked by Kanye's bodyguards before climbing into Kanye's Mercedes and being driven to her hotel.

And yes, we know for a fact this is Kanye's building.  Girl, we see you.....

Oprah Winfrey And Stedman Graham DINE OUT + Iyanla Vanzant LANDS "OWN" Show

Oprah Winfrey and her longtime beau Stedman Graham were spotted out at dinner in NYC yesterday.  We rarely get to see these two getting all touchy feely out in public.  See the pics inside and get the deets on Iyanla Vanzant's new OWN show.

 

Oprah Winfrey was photographed leaving her hotel and going out for dinner with Stedman Graham to ABC Kitchen in New York City last night.  The twosome dined with Stedman's 37-year-old daughter Wendy (not pictured).  And yeah we peeped that hand aound the waist Mr. Graham. Get it. 

Oprah was also  in town for the OWN 2012 Upfronts.

And over on OWN..........

 

It's a good thing that Iyanla is back in Oprah's good graces because she just landed her "OWN" show. It's called "IYANLA FIX MY LIFE" and Iyanla will use her past to help others’ futures. The show will focus on pulling back the curtain so people can fix their broken lives and is produced by Jon Sinclair and Jill Van Lokeren.

Oprah has renewed the hit series "Sweetie Pie's" as well as her "Master Class" series.  And has added 4 new shows for next season.
