Tia & Tamera Mowry always prove just how in sync their twindom really is. Almost 1 year after Tia gave birth to her son Cree, newlywed Tamera has announced she & hubby Adam Housley are pregnant!
Deets on the couple's soon-to-be bouncing bundle of joy inside... Despite revealing just this past October to TheYBF.com (and also on her "Tia & Tamera" reality show) that she and her Fox News correspondent husband, Adam Housley, were far from having babies be a part of their immediate future--all that has changed. 33-year-old actress Tamera Mowry-Housely just announced she is indeed pregnant with the couple's first child. In a statement, the upcoming Fox "Rebounding" actress revealed:
And it was all thanks to their "amazing" trip to South Africa that changed their minds about having babies so soon. Tamera told People/Celebrity Babies:
Makes perfect sense.
The couple--who married last May outside of Napa Valley--have a due date of early November. And what did the cute Tamera have to say about that all-day first trimester sickness?

Mariah Carey was in Miami over the weekend kicking it in the studio with JD, DJ Khaled and Rick Ross. You k now, since Rick reportedly is banned from traveling--doctor's orders! Though deets are scarce about what they were working on, Rick is expected to announce a new single and release date for his album God Forgives, I Don’t very soon. And of course, whatever they created could appear on Mariah's follow-up to 2009’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. In other Mimi news, she'll fly to Paris later this month to celebrate her wedding anniversary and her twins' birthdays before her show in Ischgl, Austria, on April 30. She tweeted, "very excited to celebrate #dembabies first birthday in a week, I can't even believe it's been a year.. wow!!!"
And by the way, Mrs. Cannon is featured in People Magazine’s “2012 Most Beautiful” issue. Mariah lost 30 pounds on Jenny following the birth of her twins, and she's looking fab.

As Monica and Brandy reunited on the hit duet “It All Belongs to Me,” Monica revealed to Rap-Up that it was originally an R. Kelly track. “At the time, the record belonged to R. Kelly and I thank Robert from the bottom of my heart because I had to really go to him and ask him, ‘Can I take this song?’ And he gave it to me. He said, ‘I’ll let you take it.’” Monica was very grateful as she added, “R. Kelly is one of the greatest that ever did it, especially when it comes to lyrics and knowing how to make a song that makes sense to the everyday person because I’m just like them.” The song fits B Rocka & Mo better anyway.... |

Fab actress Tika Sumpter has been announced as a cast member of BET's upcoming scripted drama "Being Mary Jane. Get the deets on the final cast and find out about our fave youngin' KeKe Palmer's latest flick for Nickelodeon.
Akil Productions, the fab company owned by Mara Brock Akil and hubby Salim Akil (pictured above), have announced Tika Sumpter as part of the final cast of their new BET scripted show "Being Mary Jane." According to the press release, the 1-hour Salim Akil-directed & Mara Brock Akil created drama will star Gabrielle Union in the lead. She portrays a career woman who has achieved a decorated career as the host of a fast paced 24-hour national cable news network. As "Mary Jane" juggles her life, her work and her commitment to family, viewers follow how far she’s willing to go to find those puzzle pieces that she, and society, insist are missing from her life as a single black female. Sounds familiar to many successful black women's lives.... Gabby will be supported by a cast that includes Tika, Omari Hardwick, Richard Roundtree, Margaret Avery, Richard Brooks, Stephen Bishop, Raven Goodwin, Latarsha Rose, Robinne Lee and Aaron Spears. Production on the show started April 23rd.
And on Nickelodeon..... We told you earlier about "Rags" a new spin a rags-to-riches story starring KeKe Palmer and Max Schneider set to air on Nickelodeon on Monday, May 28 and 8pm ET. The modern-day fairytale is executive produced by Nick Cannon, directed by Bille Woodruff and features original music produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. The soundtrack features 9 original songs on which a few, KeKe will be flexing her vocal skills. People magazine just released their annual World's Most Beautiful issue. And new mom Beyonce Knowles has been crowned the Most Beautiful Woman In The World. The "Countdown" singer and superstar dishes on why mommyhood makes her feel more beautiful than ever, and even addresses a few of those foolish rumors... The 26-time Grammy Award winner is showing no signs of slowing down. President Obama sat down with Jimmy Fallon last night for a wide ranging interview that covered everything from higher education and student loans to what it's like to live in the White House. The duo began with a funny segment where President Obama joined Jimmy and The Roots to slow jam about the State of The Union..... PRESIDENT OBAMA: I’m President Barrack Obama. And I too want to slow jam the news! On July first of this year the interest rate on Stafford student loans, the same loans many of you use to help pay for college, are set to double. That means some hard working students will be paying about a thousand dollars extra just to get their education. So I’ve called on Congress to prevent this from happening. What we’ve said is simple: now is not the time to make school more expensive for our young people. JIMMY FALLON: Oh yeah. You should listen to the President – or, as I like to call him, the Preezy of the United Steezy…Things are heating up inside of Congress’s chambers, behind all those closed doors. So the president made a few discreet calls across the aisle. He said ‘Hey, let’s get together on this one.” With college getting more expensive, is it enough by itself to satisfy all your collegiate needs? Ah, Pell no! PRESIDENT OBAMA: Now there’s some in Congress who disagree. They say keeping the interest rate low isn’t the way to help our students. It was a hot pink night for YBF chicks Rihanna and Tyra Banks. Both of the ladies showed up to Tuesday night's TIME 100 Gala celebrating its '100 Most Influential People In The World.' And since the two fabulous ladies made the list, they made a statement in pink on the red carpet.

At Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, Rihanna showed up in a strapless hot pink taffeta Marchesa gown with a slight origami & gathered plunged neckline and a hi-low hem. The now black-haired singer looked fresh & pretty, pulling off the 80's prom look with a surprisingly refreshing appeal.
And the chick didn't let a pretty party dress keep her from partying her way. She tweeted: Well....2nt consisted of us singing Bob Marley, drinkin Vintage Scotch, and my mom thinkin a joke abt [Ashton] Kutcher was appropriate! #Thxtime100 Ri, who hit the red carpet and performed at the event, gushed on the red carpet about how special this honor is saying, "I can't believe I'm sitting in one of those slots--100 slots. There's so many people in the world. It feels special. It really is surreal."
With big diamond earrings and her black Louboutin pumps, the "Cake" singer was spotted leaving her hotel--Gansevoort Park Ave--before the event:

| Deion Sanders Cops SIMPLE ASSAULT Charge After Fight Night With Pilar Posted: 24 Apr 2012 09:57 PM PDT
Monday night's big fight where Pilar Sanders allegedly attacked Deion in their suburban Dallas home--this according to Deion--didn't just end with Pilar getting arrested. Police have investigated further today, and have charged Deion with simple assault. Deets inside... The drama just keeps coming with these two. Pilar Sanders was arrested last night and charged with domestic assault after getting into a fight with her estranged husband Monday night. After Pilar was released today and told not to return to the home for the next 60 days, cops have charged Deion with misdemeanor simple assault. But police say that charge does not warrant an arrest. NFL.com says the charge against Sanders is one that covers "any act considered aggressive and could be as simple as touching or defensively jerking away from someone's grip." So it seems like a technicality. Or is it? Because Pilar is also accusing Deion of being the one who attacked HER. Not the other way around. No word on if Deion's new citation will affect his long-standing analyst job with the NFL network.

She's had 6 years to practice. And she hasn't performed on tv since her utter failure of a performance back in 2006 on BET's "106 & Park." Check out Cassie Ventura's do-over on tonight's episode inside... Hitting the stage with her signature long hair and shaven sides with a group of energetic dancers, 25-year-old Cassie seemed to improve from her first go-round, relatively speaking. With a more confident demeanor and voice, Bad Boy's pretty First Lady performed her new single "King of Hearts" in a taped performance for her Cassie Army in the "106 & Park" audience:
It wasn't the most vocally strong performance but was pretty good for her. And the whimsical electro-dance style of the song doesn't necessarily need powerful vocals. She seems to have been practicing those dance skills as well. Wonder if her boo/boss/former backup dancer Diddy led her in a few rehearsals... Cassie seemed ecstatic to be on stage and told her fans during her interview with host Rocsi, "My fans that are here--they know the vibe and the sound and they really inspired me too. I just want to take a second to thank you guys so much. You have supported me non stop, through and through. And I'm so lucky." She will perform a 20 minute set and the "King of Hearts" in Spain this summer. She will be one of the performers during a concert that will see 60,000 people. From "Cosby Show" to "That's So Raven" to the lead powerful voice of Broadway's production of Sister Act, Raven-Symoné is all grown up and looking fab these days. She's now living in NYC for the run of the show, so she stopped by the BET studios to kick it with Rocsi and the "106 & Park" crowd.
Rocking Rag & Bone black/white split skinny jeans with a sexy bustier and fringed cover up all under a cropped leather jacket, Raven hit up the BET show with host Rocsi. Raven also answered questions from the Bowl of Randomness. Her answers: What she keeps under her bed? Himalayan sea salts. Fave song to sing in the shower? Maroon 5's "This Love." Something about her most people don't know? She enjoys The Science Channel.

Clippers baller Chris Paul and his new wife, Jada. After getting traded from the New Orleans Hornets to his new west coast team, Chris and his wife of 7 months just confirmed their second child is on the way! And Jada flaunted her baby bump on the red carpet Sunday night.
Deets inside... Sunday night 27-year-old Jada & 26-year-old Chris had a date night--with their cutie 3-year-old son Chris, Jr.--at the JEEP & USA Basketball collabo event in L.A. Jada was indeed rocking a pretty round belly on the red carpet (above). And today, the couple confirmed. They're expecting a baby girl! Jada told Essence.com:

For those of you who haven't been able to carry on with your normal daily activities these last 9 days due to Nicki Minaj's Twitter absence, you can now rejoice. Your leader has returned.
Deets inside... The 29-year-old rapstress has finished the battle of voices in her head and finally returned to twitter (@NickiMinaj). She deleted her entire page 9 days ago--along with all 11 million of her followers. Today, the "Beez In The Trap" chick has less than 500,000 followers (as of 4:30p EST). But we're pretty sure that number will skyrocket soon. Just so people can see what her first Tweet will be after all this foolishness. While in London last week, Nicki told Capital FM that the reason she deleted her Twitter wasn't because her biggest fan site, Nicki Daily, posted her music illegally. But the fan site didn't know that as they proceeded to delete their whole site with only "Dear Old Nicki" playing in the background. Nicki claims it was because she "needed a moment":
