Why did Beyonce and Jay-Z -- two of music's royals -- stand the Grammys up?? Ooooh.... we see.... because they'd rather GO ON A DATE!!! Aww... well... okay, if it's for lurve... LOL!! Jay and Bey took a Maybach from Manhattan to the Carroll Gardens of Brooklyn where they shared pizza at their favorite place -- Lucali. Onlookers described the couple as very normal, saying good-bye to the owner and waitress at the end of the night. Who's the latest name to be thrown into the mix? Singer Gavin DeGraw! One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder leaked that Gavin has signed onto the show. The two singers recently hooked up for a single so we're pretty sure it's legit! Cheryl Burke had her heart set on salsa-er and New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz but that was a no go. No one is barking about getting half the royalities or dividing the drum stick collection evenly. Because she is ready to start focusing on her movie career, Selena Gomez is setting her band The Scene free to explore differenct opportunities for thesmelves. As Selenita explained on her Facebook page this week, everyone is on great terms and remains friends despite the split. She writes:
No word on whether they love her back... We're just kidding! Of course they do! How could they not? There doesn't seem to be an ounce of hostility in anything she's saying there; in fact, she seems super supportive of the guys and wants them to succeed without her. | Whitney Houston Heavy Grammys Second Highest Rated Show Ever Posted: 13 Feb 2012 11:20 AM PST When news of her death broke Saturday, the world turned it's eyes Grammys to see what was planned to honor the great Whitney Houston. Because of that, Sunday's broacast skyrocketed from last year's event with a 46% increase in ratings. In total, the averaged to 39 million viewers, all watching on to see the music community bid farewell to beloved one of their own. From LL Cool J's opening prayer to Jennifer Hudson's tribute above, the awards were packed with condolences for the fallen singer. Other networks made sure to stay out of the way too, holding mostly reruns - except ABC, whose shows posted all times lows, including Once Upon A Time. The 2012 Grammys only follow the 1984 show for the highest rated Grammy broadcast, the year before Whitney released her first studio album. |
