We'll forget ALL about The Haunted Mansion Earlier today, we heard that next year's Oscars show producer Brett Ratner wants Eddie Murphy to host the show, because after directing him in Tower Heist he thinks that Eddie is the ONLY man for the job! While we've been conditioned to be skeptical about nearly everything Eddie Murphy-related over the years, we were thinking that this could be his chance to prove us wrong and turn it all around. Looks like he's going to get that chance, because he's reportedly officially agreed to host the 84th Academy Awards! Let's do this thing, Eddie! | Same Old Story! Wesley Snipes Will Stay In Jail After Court Denies His Appeal! Posted: 06 Sep 2011 12:20 PM PDT This is truly becoming a tale as old as time! To recap, Wesley Snipes was convicted in 2008 on tax evasion charges, and he was sentenced to three years in federal minimum security prison, beginning in December 2010. Then, he tried to file an appeal requesting a new trial with the U.S. Supreme Court back in December...but he was denied. Now, the Blade/Major League actor has once again tried to appeal his prison sentence, but the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta rejected his request. This kind of reminds us of the whole Phil Spector thing...but on a much less extreme scale! Do U think Wesley Snipes has served enough time? Or should he stay in jail??? [Image via WENN.] |

| The Real Housewives Of New York Discuss Russell Armstrong's Suicide Posted: 06 Sep 2011 11:40 AM PDT With the season two debut of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiering last night, the Housewives of New York are opening up with their thoughts on the tragic suicide of Russell Armstrong. Kelly Bensimon and Ramona Singer both agree the show isn't to blame for his death, with Ramona expressing:

Sonja Morgan and Alex McCord didn't want to say much, though. Sonja said her heart goes out to Russell's estranged wife Taylor, but that "sometimes being helpful is just staying out of [her] business. Alex didn't feel comfortable talking a whole lot, either, saying "We did what we did privately. And that's that." Posted: 06 Sep 2011 11:20 AM PDT ABC News interviews Chaz Bono amidst all the critics bashing his presence on Dancing With The Stars. As he explains his focus has just been on the dancing, he genuinely fails to see what the big deal is about his gender. ...because, really, what IS the big deal? Chaz insists he's just in it for the dancing, no political agenda, and that people who don't watch the show because of him, well, he thinks that's just crazy. And we completely agree.
