Even on the day that Kourtney Kardashian announces that she's definitely having a girl, Kim Kardashian is still the bigger news with a series of fake tabloid stories. But sure, let's spend a second on Kourtney – she's expecting a girl. Another Kardashian girl into the mix, but this time the girl's genetics are part Disick. Will this Kardashian-Disick female be the one in all of the end-time prophesies? Probably! Now, on to Kim. Tabloids are running a series of dumb stories about her this week, so why don't we just jump in? Last week, it was widely reported that Kim and Reggie Bush went on a brunch date in LA. They were spotted together, not hiding the "date" and there were many, many reports that they were now back together. Just a few days after that, TMZ caught up with Reggie and he denied that they were back together:
"No." Head shake. DENIED! Or is this just a "whatever" denial because Reggie didn't feel like confirming it to a TMZ paparazzo? In any case, In Touch Weekly claims Reggie and Kim are totes getting married now!
[From Hollywood Life] Eh. Could be true. But like a famewhore moth to the publicity flame, so too will Kim Kardashian be back to publicizing the crap out of whatever relationship she's in. So… Reggie should prepare himself, either way. Speaking of reasons why Reggie should watch his ass… Kim's former on-screen boning partner, Ray J, is releasing a memoir called Death of the Cheating Man (?). In the book, Ray J discusses a person named "KK" who "heavily pursued him and took him to bed while still married to Damon Thomas in 2004." He writes, "She let me know she wanted to get with me. She left her husband for me as soon as we started having sex…We were like animals — sexually free to try anything, and we did." Ray J also claims that for two years, "she'd greet him in the morning with hot towels and toothpaste on his toothbrush and then give him lingerie shows at night." He also says she was paranoid that he was cheating on her, and she even tapped his phone - "She started going to extremes to monitor my behavior." Ray J does admit he eventually cheated on her, but he excuses it by saying she was screwing around too – "I had no respect for her. I wanted more for my life…[to] find a woman that I could actually trust." Sounds about right.

I'm not sure why we didn't do a story on Pres. Obama recent Al Green cover – CB reminded me that she just made it the lead morning link that day, but in retrospect, it probably deserved its own story. Should we do the video now? Why not: Cute, right? After he did that, Michelle Obama told a reporter, "He sings to me all the time!" When I told my mom that, she said, "Awwww…" Pres. Obama will heal us with his Al Green covers. Anyway, last night, PBS released footage of Obama hosting a White House blues concert in honor of Black History Month. BB King was there, as was Mick Jagger. And towards the end of the evening, it seems like BB King was goading the president into singing again – and Obama took the bait with a little bit of "Sweet Home Chicago". Is it wrong to like the Al Green cover more? I don't mind this – it's cute. But he was way cuter with "Let's Stay Together." And just to be bi-partisan, here's Mitt Romney singing "America the Beautiful". Just think, I could have embedded his version of "Who Let The Dogs Out?"

Extra released a new-ish interview with Angelina Jolie yesterday – the interview actually took place last week, when Angelina was in Sarajevo for the Bosnian premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey. What could have been a decent two-minute edited video interview is drawn out to seven minutes of real-time, unedited boringness, though. Look, I love Angelina. But she's not half as interesting this dude thinks she is. Angelina discusses the film, whether she'll direct again, whether she'll ever direct Brad Pitt in a project, and around the five-minute mark, she talks about the possibility she'll marry Brad:
Extra is claiming in their text of the interview that "Angelina Jolie hints to Jerry Penacoli she may finally be ready to marry Brad Pitt." Because she replied to the question, "Maybe." She sounded unconvinced and unconvincing. But look how she lights up when she talks about the kids – "They figured out what marriage is now, they’re old enough so now they kind of like the idea of it. But we’re still convinced that half of them just want to party.” In other Angelina news, she's just been confirmed for Newsweek/The Daily Beast's annual Women In the World Summit, which will be held in NYC next month. Angelina will be joining congresswomen, international politicians, Nobel laureates, journalists, humanitarians, businesswomen and Meryl Streep. Yay!

| Justin Theroux break-dances in skinny jeans on ‘Ellen’: cute or try-hard? Posted: 22 Feb 2012 05:46 AM PST
Justin Theroux, star of Jennifer Aniston's bedroom and Wanderlust (in that order), makes an appearance on today's Ellen DeGeneres show. Because come hell or high water, Justin Theroux is going to be super-famous right now. That's what he signed on for, and he's playing it better than any other Aniston boyfriend. Anyway, the clip that we were sent is Justin talking about how much his GIRLFRIEND loves it when he breakdances. Justin told Ellen:
[Via Ellen's transript] Ellen and Justin then banter and Ellen's "surprises" Justin with his breaking shoes which Aniston has allegedly "sent over." And so Justin breakdances for the audience: I give him credit for his commitment to the bit, honestly. It's refreshingly cute that he's not so full of himself – he'll break-dance on Ellen. Does this make you like him more? Also – how have I never noticed how skinny this man is? The skinny jeans don't help, of course. He looks like he borrowed his girlfriend's skinny jeans, only I suspect Justin is even slimmer than Aniston. He has itty-bitty legs!!! When are the tabloids going to do a cover on Justin's "crazy diet and obvious eating disorder"? He also looks kind of short? How tall is Justin? Google says 5'10". Do you believe that? I'm thinking more like 5'8". In addition to the Justin stuff, there's also a new interview with Aniston where she's discussing how she dropped trou all over the place during the filming of Wanderlust. This comes a day after reports that she had her nude scenes pulled out of respect to her boyfriend, who apparently thinks she's a virgin.
[From People] Wait, now People Magazine claims that Aniston and Theroux started in the summer of 2011? When they were spotted together as early as February 2011, back when Justin had a girlfriend? I hope Justin and Jen still get lots and lots of questions about the timing. I hope there are tabloid covers devoted to the timing. I hope Heidi Bivens says something.

Anyway Adam, 32, has been dating statuesque Victoria’s Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna, 25, for about two years. We’ve heard rumors that Adam was stepping out on her, but those were vague and never confirmed. In a joint appearance on Howard Stern recently, Adam revealed his birth control method with Anne, which he said was “foolproof” – pulling out. Uh, that’s not foolproof. OK Magazine has the details:
[From OK!] Well it’s not great advice to put out there as far as birth control goes, especially when we’re talking about a guy who is probably only in a monogamous relationship for appearance’s sake. I hope that he’s using condoms with any women he’s sleeping with on the side. I did a tiny bit of google research, and there was a controversial recent report that claimed that, if done perfectly, withdrawal has a surprising 4 percent failure rate as opposed to condom’s 2 percent failure rate. The researcher also noted that two studies show that it’s not true that there is mobile sperm in pre-ejaculate, unless the man has had sex in the last two hours. So maybe withdrawal gets “a bad rap” as some claim, but it’s still not effective against sexually transmitted diseases, and it requires a lot of trust between partners. When it comes to Adam Levine, it sounds pretty selfish too. Here’s some of Adam’s interview with Howard. He handles the question about Christina Aguilera gaining weight pretty well.

| Adele wins two BRIT Awards, flips off producers after her speech is cut off Posted: 22 Feb 2012 04:30 AM PST
It just occurred to me as I was looking through these photos of Adele at last night's BRIT Awards – Adele has an excellent bitchface. Usually, we don't see it. The camera loves her, and most of the professional and candid photos of her are just gorgeous, and she's making sweet faces. But I swear, on the red carpet for the BRIT Awards, Adele was pissed off at someone or something, and the look on her face is magnificent. Sigh… LOVE. Anyway, it's been a year since Adele's balls-out performance at the 2011 BRIT Awards – she sang "Someone Like You" with only a piano accompaniment, and the performance went viral. Shall we see it again? Seriously? That still holds up. It will hold up 30 years from now. After that, they should have just given Adele all of the awards. Which is pretty much what happened at last night's BRIT Awards – Adele took home Album of the Year and Best Female Solo Artist. Unfortunately for all, the producers of the awards decided to cut off Adele mid-speech! Noooo. So Adele flipped 'em off.
[From Gigwise] Lana del Rey's victory makes everyone else's awards a little less special. But don't ask me – I don't really understand the way music awards work, what the governing bodies are for all of these academies and such. All I know is that my girl won and she flipped the bird. Because she's ALL CLASS!!! And before you start yelling about Kristen Stewart's bird-flipping – was Kristen's acceptance speech cut off? No. Kristen is a rebel without a cause (or a clue). Adele was directing her anger at someone specific, at least.

The more I hear about our current Sports Illustrated cover girl, Kate Upton, the more I like her. I think she should be proud of her SI: Swimsuit Issue cover, even if they oddly 'Shopped her mons. I also think that people are hatin' on this poor 19-year-old girl for no good reason. Sure, she's not "high fashion" – she never claimed to be. It doesn't seem like she wants to walk the runways in Paris – she wants print media work, and she wants to be a "celebrity model". More power to her. Anyway, Kate has a new interview with Access Hollywood, and she comes across as so… sweet. Not sickly-sweet or fake, just kind of naïve and good-hearted and very, very young. She answers the criticism that she's too downmarket, and she also talks about body image and how her friends never "staged an intervention" about her eating habits: I love Kate's response of “Gisele’s a football player’s wife. Gisele’s in that category so I’m good.” As for the Victoria's Secret runway organizer's comments, Kate says, "I'm doing fine in my career, I don’t need to walk down their runway so it’s all good. She can think that and I can think whatever I want about her.” And seriously – last year, when she gained some weight, even some of the boy bloggers were criticizing her, so I'm glad she talked about loving her curves too – "I love my curves, I'm healthy." She's just a sweet (kind of dumb) kid. Leave her alone!

Here are some new photos of Brandi Glanville, "going for a spray tan at The Infinity Sun Office West Hollywood, California." I'm guessing that this was a paid appearance, correct? I'm not judging Brandi – she does these paid gigs often enough, and I can't imagine they pay that much, but at least she's bringing in an income as a "model/celebrity". I feel like just a glance of these photos will send LeAnn Rimes into a fit of extreme dieting, though. Brandi is just so, so skinny. I think most of it is probably genetics on Brandi's part – she's just got that naturally long, lean, model-y type of figure. I bet she never gains weight in her legs. LeAnn would be so much better off if she just aimed to have a fit, athletic figure instead of trying to Single White Female Brandi's model-body. My guess/assumption is that Eddie Cibrian likes his women really slender, though. But I'd still like to see both LeAnn and Brandi (both!) put on a little weight. There isn't much Brandi Glanville news these days – she's been suspiciously quiet for a few weeks. God knows what she's up to. Taylor Armstrong has been talking about Brandi, though, as Taylor promotes her new book. In a recent interview, Armstrong talked about how Brandi "called her out" for signing a book deal just a few weeks after Taylor's husband killed himself – Armstrong said, "I don't really have much of a relationship with her. I don't really know her and she doesn't know me." When asked to describe Brandi in one word, Taylor said, "Good grief. I'm trying to think. Filterless."

Amanda Seyfried gets yet another stab at trying to make this whole "lead actress" thing happen in her latest film, Gone. What's sketchy to me that Amanda is in one of the best positions in Hollywood to actually have a major break out – this girl gets so much work, and she even has some hit films under her belt. She has the career that Blake Lively, Megan Fox and Jessica Biel wish they had, you know? I tend to think that Amanda would actually be a more established "celebrity" actress if she was just a tad more interesting. Instead, her interviews are usually as interesting as watching paint dry. Same with her style – I can't recall Amanda ever wearing anything that made me sit up and take notice. For last night's premiere of Gone, Amanda wore this completely boring Nina Ricci which manages to do nothing for her figure and it washes her out completely, and yet… it's not even interesting enough to be considered "hideous."
I also think Amanda has great hair, but I don't get this style at all. And she looked so pissed off in so many photos. Does she think her film is going to bomb? It might. The trailer looks awful. Just so we don't have to only discuss Amanda, here's a photo of Wes Bentley, who costars with Amanda. His eyes are so… intense.
And I had never heard of this actor, Sam Upton, but I became enchanted with him in these photos. His brows are kind of crazy, but that face is… mmm…my type.

| Rihanna wears Givenchy for the BRIT Awards: lovely, too mature or just awful? Posted: 22 Feb 2012 04:17 AM PST
Here are some of the fashion photos from last night's BRIT Awards in London. They're sort of like the Grammys and the American Music Awards, I'm guessing. They give out awards to musical acts and there are lots of performances too. I already covered Adele's multiple victories earlier. Rihanna also took home an award for International Solo Artist of the year. Rihanna wore this Givenchy gown which… is unexpected? I'm not used to seeing Rihanna in formal eveningwear, so it takes a moment to adjust. I'm not crazy about the gown on Rihanna – it seems like the dress is wearing her, and the gown is too "old" for her. I do love the leather gloves, though. Those are gorge.
Here's Florence Welch in Alexander McQueen. Ugh. I love Flo, totally and completely, but I feel like people are trying to make her "happen" as a Fashion Girl, and I almost always think she looks like hell. Bad hair, bad makeup, and the dress does nothing for her. It looks like a tattered doily.
Lana Del Rey won the Breakthrough Award. She wore this pretty Vivienne Westwood gown which feels really plain on her, right?
Call me cray-cray, but I love this pale yellow Versace on Nicole Scherzinger. The fit is weird at the bust and the waist, there's something "home sewn" about those beads, and yet… it all kind of works. She looks really good here.
I really like Jessie J's voice. I feel like she's trying to follow The Gaga Path – have a great voice, since dance tracks that the gays will love, wear shocking things, try to be provocative, and see where it goes from there. She would be more interesting if she wasn't trying to be so "provocative" though. Her dress is Falguni & Shane Peacock – meh.
