Celebs were all over the Oscar afterparty scene last night in Hollywood. Pics of the colorul frocks on The Williams Sisters, Paula Patton & Robin Thicke, Zoe Saldana, Sanaa Lathan and plenty more inside...
Celebs party hopped among the annual Vanity Fair screening party at Sunset Towers Hotel, the TWC party at the Skybar at the Mondrian Hotel, the Governor's Ball at Hollywood & Highland Center, and Elton John's AIDS Foundation party at The City of West Hollywood Park. Paula Patton and hubby Robin Thicke finally got their schedules aligned so they could spend a cutesy night together at Vanity Fair's party.
Paula rocked a black feather skirted frock with an embrodered white bust. Can't decide if I'm loving it--looks a bit young. But her legs are looking killer these days.
Pretty lady Octavia Spencer and Meryl Streep (in Lanvin) partied it up in celebration of their Oscar wins at the Governor's Ball--celebs' first party stop.
And in her beaded Tadashi Shoji gown, she took her Oscar statue over to the Vanity Fair afterparty.
Zoe Saldana went all-black in a Marios Schwab Fall 2012 gown.
Very interesting look.
Friends Sanaa Lathan and Rosario Dawson had some fun at the Vanity Fair afterparty. Loving Sanaa's goddess-in-white look for the night.
Serena and Venus Williams got colorful in their Vanity Fair party gowns. Both designs were done by L.A. based designer Christiane King. Fabulous color and mermaid fit for Serena with a scalloped back. And Venus' purple and fuchsia gown with a one-shoulder strap detail complete with a thigh-high split looked great as well.
Diddy kept it suave on the carpet as well.
Adepero Oduye, the star of Pariah, hit the VF party.
Pharrell celebrated his scoring of the Oscars at the Governor's Ball.
A sexy Anika Noni Rose posed it up with Broadway actress Idina Menzel (in a look I'm hating). Oh hey Russ.
Boyz II Men kicked it at the Elton John party.
Regina King went all lace and looked gorgeous.
Taye Diggs and wife Idina posed it up.
Terry Crews hit the Elton John party with his stunning wife Rebecca.

As producers scramble to complete a script for the Whitney Houston biopic, Rihanna has emerged as a contender for the lead role. Find out who else is on the shortlist inside...... It turns out that Meagan Good isn't the only person being considered for the lead role in the upcoming Whitney Houston biopic. Rihanna, seen leaving her London hotel room yesterday in an Elizabeth Taylor jumper, is reportedly also being considered. She faces stiff competition as Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks have also been mentioned for the role. In addition, Willow Smith may play Whitney as a child and Vivica A. Fox is expected to have a part in the movie as well. People are going to have lots to say either way...

Oprah chatted up Jimmy Kimmel last night as his special post-Oscars headlining guest. Check out their first sit down together ever inside... After shamelessly begging Lady O for years to appear on his show, she finally accepted. Even though she told Jimmy she had standards until deciding to appear on his show. Oprah won the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Honorary Oscar Award. So they discussed all the "good stuff" she's done and her first horrible time attending the Oscars back in 1986 when she was nominated for The Color Purple. O revealed that she's considering returning to acting, that she did have to wait in line at the DMV, and that she confronts drivers who are texting. Check out their funny sit down below:

Sunday tonight, The West Coast rocked the East Coast by beating them in the 2012 NBA All-Star game. See pics of your NBA favs like Blake Griffin, Kobe Bryant, Bron Bron, Derrick Rose plus the Young Money crew inside..... Orlando, FL played host to the 2012 NBA All-Star Game Sunday night.
The annual game features the best of the best from the West Coast.....
And the East Coast. Before the game, both sides were introduced with a Nicki Minaj performance.

Kobe Bryant scored 27 points, surpassing Michael Jordan's record career points.
Kobe, Carmelo and Chris took time out for a laugh on the court. The West beat the East 152--149 and Kevin Durant of the OK Thunder was MVP. Also......

He got a kiss from Nicki Minaj after her performance.

Derrick Rose, who repped for the East tonight (and the Chicago Bulls) just signed a 14-year, $250 million with Adidas! Must be nice. Also, Hall of Famer Earvin "Magic" Johnson was introduced before the start of the NBA All-Star Game. It was 20 years ago, before the '92 All-Star game in Orlando, FL, that he announced he was retiring from the Lakers to tend to his HIV diagnosis.

Diddy put on his Executive Producer hat for the high school football based documentary Undefeated. And the movie just won the Oscar! At tonight's 84th Annual Academy Awards, Sean "Diddy" Combs' emotional film Undefeated just won for Best Documentary. Although he didn't get on stage with the other 5 members of the production/film team to accept the award, he walked the red carpet earlier. And was spotted in the audience sitting directly behind his rumored boo Cameron Diaz. Diddy tweeted after the win: Holy shit!!!! God is the greatest!!!! Thank you! #undefeated !!!! Oh, and his other boo Cassie tweeted to him that he looked handsome tonight. His response? "Thanks babe." |

The 39-year-old Montgomery, Alabama native, in a Tadashi Shoji gown, gave an emotional acceptance speech and thanked her home state of Alabama, her L.A. family, Steven Spielberg, and other members of her team. The gown was paired with Jimmy Choo shoes, a Judith Leiber clutch and Neil Lane diamonds. By the way, Octavia revealed on tonight's red carpet that she's set to begin a new movie right after the awards. When I heard Vera Wang would be dressing Mrs. Viola tonight, I wasn't sure if it would be a jaw dropper like we would all love. However, this is a stunning color, the sexy strapless cut shows off her bangin' bod, and the gown is embellished at the bust with a complimentary dramatic pleated chiffon train. It's not my absolute fave look of Viola's this award season, but it indeed raised a brow and she looks gorgeous. We DO love that she took off the wig once again and is rocking her natural hair. And she looks more confident than ever! So... DO YOU LOVE IT?!

So much for looking forward to the utter perfectness that is Halle Berry on any given red carpet. The Oscar winner has bailed last minute on her scheduled appearance tonight at the 84th Academy Awards. Deets inside, plus Selita Ebanks' Oscar pre-show look... Halle Berry has reportedly pulled put of her presenter duties at tonight's Academy Awards. The gorgeous Dark Tide actress, who copped the Oscar for Best Actress back in 2002, cited her broken foot as her reason. People Style Watch reports:
I mean...she has been hopping around in a cast for several months now. It wasn't a new occurrence. But alrighty. The Awards will air live, tonight, from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
And earlier this afternoon, model Selita Ebanks, posing with co-host Ross Matthews and her hairstylist Ken Paves, kicked off the Oscar festivities for E!'s big Pre-Show. Over the weekend, Dwyane Wade, Dwight Howard, T.I. and Amber Rose all hosted All-Star events in Orlando. Get the pics inside.... Before tonight's big game, parties popped off all over Orlando. Miami HEAT guard Dwyane Wade (shown above with Gabrielle Union) and his Wade's World Foundation hosted a luncheon for their 5th Annual All-Star Weekend in Orlando, Florida. Dwyane's foundation seeks to improve young lives in the local community and to encourage fathers to play an active role in the lives of their children.
Estelle attended the luncheon and supported Dwyane's foundation.
Also, Mr. Wade, in partnership with the Tangelo Park Program, unveiled two new basketball courts for Tangelo Park Elementary School that he refurbished with his foundation. And on the party scene.....
Adidas and Dwight Howard hosted an exclusive VIP party welcoming friends and fans to celebrate All-Star weekend in Orlando. Above, he posed with NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Von Miller.
During the party, there were performances by B.o.B, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, Fabolous and Young Jeezy.
Besties Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony attended the Jordan All-Star With Fabolous 23 event at Isleworth Golf & Country Club.
