NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey And Marlo Hampton Host "RHOA" Viewing Party In ATL

Over the weekend, "RHOA" stars Cynthia Bailey and NeNe Leakes got together with Marlo Hampton and hosted a viewing party for the season four debut at Bar One in Atlanta. See the pics inside....

 


 

Marlo Hampton may not have made the cut as a "real housewife" but the chick is still in the mix, having hosted a recent viewing party with Cynthia and NeNe in Atlanta.  Above, the trip pose with a group of fans.

And of course NeNe and all of her dramatics were on FULL display both on and off camera.

Tamar Braxton Tells Folks Who Say She Married Vince For Money To HAVE A SEAT, Talks Skin Bleaching & Business Moves

The breakout star of "Braxton Family Values" is talking it up this week as she continues promo for season 2 of the reality show.  Tamar Braxton is telling her haters to have a seat with those skin bleaching rumors and gold digging comments.  And she says the show has indeed created more sibling rivalry.

Tamar's obviously our fave Braxton sister of the moment--well, we love us some Trina and Traci too--so we had to relay the message she told BlackEnterprise.com this week about all the rumors floating around about her and her fam, including her manager husband Vince.  She's also dishing on her post-reality show business moves.

BlackEnterprise.com: Do you think that the attention you’ve received has caused some sibling rivalry?

Braxton: At first I did, and it was very difficult for me because I would get accused of acting like a prima donna. But I’m like, if y’all think about it, I’ve been making the same faces since I was about 2 [years old]. I think the problem is when you see it on TV it’s magnified. I believe it was difficult for my sisters to watch it and they became defensive. But again, I’ve always been candid and honest. I believe everybody is back to normal and it was more of the surprise the first season.

BlackEnterprise.com: When you think of developing and expanding your brand, what’s your priority?

Braxton: The No. 1 priority is to complete my album and fulfill my dream. One of my other passions is talking to and empowering young women by teaching them about self-esteem, the importance of education and choosing a [career path] for their lives. I really enjoy doing things like that so right now speaking and empowering young women and helping them to be confident is something I’ve found I truly love and want to do more of in the future.

Tamar also told the haters to HAVE A SEAT with the gold digger rumors and she finds the comments about her teddy bear hubby Vince, who has recovered from his collapse, just disrespectful.  Same thing with the skin bleaching rumors:

BlackEnterprise.com: What is the craziest rumor you’ve heard about yourself?

Braxton: God, there are several, but the one that really bothers me is that I [married] my husband for money. What? Where did that come from? Are you saying that because he’s thick? How do you know I don’t like teddy bears? I mean, really? Have a seat. Do people realize that [those comments] are very disrespectful to my relationship and friendship with my husband? I find no humor in that. To have people [speculating] about why you like what you like. Don’t they think that could affect how he feels about himself or me? If we didn’t have that openness and friendship it could. I’m sure those comments hurt his feelings. Sometimes people wanna say, “With all that mouth Tamar has…” and I say to [all of them], have several seats because I’m gonna always stand up for myself, my husband and our relationship.

BlackEnterprise.com: Unlike other celebs who go under the knife it’s refreshing that you’ve always been candid about your belief in plastic surgery. In the blogosphere, there’s been much debate about whether you bleach your skin. Do you?

Braxton: Yes, I believe in plastic surgery because I believe you’re supposed to enhance what you are happy with. And if I bleached my skin then I wouldn’t have stretch marks, right? So boom! (Laughs).

Kerry Washington, LaLa Anthony, Jennifer Lopez & More GLAMOUR Up The Night For Women Of The Year Awards

Several fabulously accomplished women in fashion, arts, politics, and social justice were honored last night at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in NYC. See pics of Jennifer Lopez, Condoleezza Rice and others being honored inside....

Last night, NY's Carnegie Hall hosted the 21st annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards where Condoleezza Rice, Jennifer Lopez, Gabrielle Gifford and Chelsea Handler where among the women honor for their contributions to society.

Jennifer Lopez, one of the evening honorees, looked amazing in a beige Versace gown.  And Donatella Versace turned up to present her with her award.

She walked into the event with Erica Reid.  Chick looks gorgeous these days.


On the red carpet, Jennifer posed with Chelsea Handler who was there to present her BFF Jennifer Aniston with an award.

Gorgeous actress Kerry Washington turned heads in a yellow Marchesa gown and diamond earrings.

Kerry presented an award to "Facebook Girl" Esraa Abdel Fattah, who had a pivotal role in kicking off the Arab Spring in Egypt.


 

LaLa Anthony wore a one-shoulder coral dress with a fabulous bow detail.

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, whose memoir is hitting shelves soon, was presented her award by Laura Bush and daughters Barbara and Jenna.

Newark mayor Cory Booker presented an award to former sex trafficking victim Withelma "T" Ortiz-Macey.

TV host Wendy Williams was there.

Model Liya Kebede also attended.

Rachel Roy wore a chic ensemble.  Love her style!

Beverly Johnson let the girls hang out....and apparently it was cold!

Gayle King also attended.

And Erica Reid was there to support her good friend J Lo.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: So "L.A. Basketball Wife" Star Draya's Got A Sextape?

Apparently, "Basketball Wives: L.A." star and Chris Brown's ex Draya Michele's got a sex tape that hasn't been released...yet.  And we're not surprised in the least bit.  We do find it funny the person who made us all aware there was one....was Draya herself.

 

Deets inside...

Draya wants you to put her on your prayer list next to the starving chidren of the world and the wars of the world--in order to help her pray away the sex tape devil.  But seeing that right now it's only threatening to be leaked by a former lover, there's no hard proof evidence of this tape...yet.

The "model"/video chick let 250,000 of her friends, well, Twitter followers, in on a secret no one would have known had she not told them herself.  She tweeted:

So someone is threatening to leak a very private movie. There’s only 2 people in possession of it and I am one. So obviously….

I just wanna pre-apologize to my family, my son, my friends, and my supporters. We live in a very cruel word.

I always assumed it was love that drove certain individuals crazy…. Come to find out it was MONEY and the want for it the whole time.

How ironic. Somebody wants to be famous. Not on my time. Saw this coming. Ha. Pathetic. Sorry bitch

So in this time, I just ask that you pray for the well being of me and my family. Thank you

PRAY for you and your unreleased "private movie"? No thanks.  But I will pray that the thirstiness of women everywhere will end.

R.I.P. "Smokin" Joe Frazier, Dies Of Liver Cancer At 67 (1944-2011)

Boxing legend "Smokin" Joe Frazier, best known for beating fellow boxing icon Muhammad Ali in 1971's Fight of the Century, passed away at age 67 last night after a battle with liver cancer.  Deets inside....

From the "Fight Of The Century" to the "Thrilla In Manila", Joe Frazier was without a doubt one of the greatest boxers of all-time.  Though his legacy was largely overshadowed by that of his bitter rival Muhammad Ali, he will go down in history as a heavyweight champion who put his all into his fights.

Mr. Frazier's family notified the world of his passing yesterday via a statement and said they would announced homecoming services soon.

When told of the passing, Bob Arum, one of Ali's former promoters said,

''He was such an inspirational guy. A decent guy. A man of his word.  I'm torn up by Joe dying at this relatively young age. I can't say enough about Joe."

And those sentiments were echoed by fighters around the world.  Ironically, the outspoken Don King, who also promoted the Manila fight, was described by his spokesman as being too upset to even speak of Frazier's death.

And as the world mourns Joe's passing, it will be interesting to hear what Muhammad Ali has to say over the next few days about the man whose legacy is so closely linked to his.

 

 

 

Jay-Z REVEALED As Rihanna's ONLY "Talk That That" Guest

When Rihanna's Talk That Talk debuts on November 21, there will only be one guest feature.  Find out which artist makes a very special guest appearance inside.....

 

 

With classic hits like "Umbrella and "Run This Town" under their belt, it's not very surprising that Jay-Z linked up with Rihanna for her latest cd.

Guesting on the title track "Talk That Talk" producer Stargate showered Jay-Z with praise for his performance on the single. And his partner, Tor Erik Hermansen, continued the praise saying,

 “This is the first time we do a song with Jay-Z and Rihanna together. Actually it’s the first time Jay does anything on our beats. It was about time.”

The producers describe the title cut as a mid-tempo banger with hard drums, dirty synths, and Rihanna and Jay at their best.

And Rihanna recently tweeted about Jay's appearance saying, “One feature on the album! And we got the best!!!!!”

Dr. Conrad Murray Found GUILTY Of Involuntary Manslaughter!

After less than two days of deliberation, a Los Angeles jury found Dr. Conrad Murray GUILTY in the involuntary manslaughter trial in the death of Michael Jackson.  Details inside....

*UPDATE* Sentencing is set for November 29th.  Conrad Murray has been remanded into custody with no bail.

*UPDATE 2* Michael Jackson's parents Katherine & Joe released this statement: We have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and we couldn’t hold back tears of joy in the courtroom. Even though nothing can bring back our son, justice has finally been served! We can’t wait to go home and share this day with Michael’s children.”

Around 4pm EST, seven men and five women in the Los Angeles Superior Court decided the fate of Dr. Conrad Murray in one of the most watched court battles of the year.  

Accused of criminal negligence for his use of propofol to treat Michael Jackson's insomnia (and its contribution to his death in 2009 which was due to propofol overdose), Dr. Conrad Murray was found GUILTY on a sole count of involuntary manslaughter, as read by foreman Juror #3.

It was a unanimous decision by all 12 jurors.  Involuntary manslaughter typically carries a maximum sentence of 4 years under California law.

Five of the jurors have had direct experience (whether themselves or someone close to them) with addiction.

SPEAK ON IT: Did NeNe Leakes Stab Sheree Whitfield In The Back? (VIDEO)

NeNe Leakes and Sheree Whitfield came out swinging last night on the season 4 premiere of "RHOA." Watch video of the season's first fight inside and decide who's right and who's wrong....

NeNe Leakes did not get the memo saying nobody "checks" Sheree Whitfield.  On last night's season 4 premiere of "RHOA" the legendary rivals got into an explosive argument over a business deal gone bad. 

Apparently, Sheree recommended NeNe for a "paid" engagement that both would be a part of.  But somewhere during negotiations, Sheree says NeNe called the promoter "Tyrone" behind her back and tried to cut Sheree out of the deal and/or decrease her fee.  Or to put it in her words, NeNe tied to "take money out of my pocket!"  Scandalous.

During the course of denials from NeNe and numerous accusations from Sheree, jabs were flying left and right.  NeNe and her ego told Sheree,

"While you were running your mouth, I was running to the bank.  I'm rich."  *side eye*

Not one to mince words, Sheree told NeNe, "Rich is getting your teeth fixed!...I remember when your teeth were rotten!"

And of course Miss New Money NeNe couldn't let that slide revealing her new veneers cost $50,000!
