It's probably true. It probably originated with some bored movie theater staffer, or maybe even a studio publicist trying to promote Hugo 3D. According to reports, Brad Pitt took his four older kids to Hugo 3D – no Angelina, so Knox, no Vivienne. Just Brad and his four oldest, and it doesn't seem like there was a nanny on-hand either. So Brad took his kids to Hugo, and when the movie ended, he and the kids left the theater. What Brad, Maddox, Pax, Shiloh and the Empress didn't realize was that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux had entered the same theater just moments before. DUN DUN DUN. It was bound to happen sooner or later. For the third time since their 2005 divorce, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston nearly came face-to-face at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood Friday. (The couple have only been in the same place twice since their split: in 2009 at the Academy Awards and in 2010 at the Hope for Haiti telethon; they didn’t cross paths at either event.) Pitt, 47, took four of his children with Angelina Jolie — Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 6, and Shiloh, 5 — to see the 2:00 showing of Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, starring Chloe Moretz, Sacha Baron Cohen and Jude Law. Once the family flick ended, Pitt and his brood headed to the parking garage just as Aniston, 42, and current love Justin Theroux entered the theater for a later showing. “Justin and Jennifer skipped the popcorn and went straight in. Like five minutes later, Brad and the kids came out of the theater,” a source tells X17. “They just missed each other!” Perhaps it was a good thing the ex-spouses managed to steer clear of each other. “They don’t talk,” an Aniston insider told Us Weekly in September. “She will always think of him as a jerk.” [From Us Weekly] I would like some eyewitness accounts of whether or not Jennifer and Brad actually made eye-contact if there were actually in the same theater for a few minutes. But maybe it was a large theater with several different entrances and exits. Maybe Brad, being on dad-duty, was just focused on herding the kids out of the theater and shuffling them off to the bathroom. Maybe Jennifer and Brad didn't even notice each other. Or maybe Brad and Justin had a glaring contest while Empress Z (who is her mother's daughter) gave Aniston the Side-eye of Doom. There was so much potential in this story! Did you care? At first it wasn't a conscious choice, there just weren't any good new stories or photos of her. And then it became a thing – I made the choice to not write about her. My rationale to CB was "Let's wait until she screws up again, because it's inevitable. This is the calm before the crack storm." Well, I'm happy to say that I'm breaking my Linnocent Embargo, but not for a bad story about her. According to TMZ, LL is actually doing really well with her community service work. Of course, this is only the first month – (crack)baby steps. Maybe structure is exactly what Lindsay Lohan needed — because TMZ has learned she’s not only on pace to complete her court-ordered stints at the morgue … she’s WAY ahead of schedule. Law enforcement sources tell us … Lohan has already completed 10 of her 12 required morgue duty shifts — impressive considering she still has another THREE WEEKS to spare. In fact, we’re told Lindsay doesn’t just plan to knock out the remaining two shifts by the Dec. 14 deadline — but she also wants to get a head start on the hours she has to complete by her 2nd status hearing. Law enforcement tell us … Lindsay has a pretty damn good reputation at the morgue — polite, hard-working and never complains about the work. Judge Sautner had said her sentence essentially put the keys to Lindsay’s freedom in her own hands — and at this point, it looks like she’s making the most of her opportunity to stay out of the clink. [From TMZ] My new prediction is that LL will be able to do her morgue work for this month, perhaps even next, but that the structured time will not be her friend in the long run. After all, in about a month LL is going to want to go somewhere for New Year's, right? Maybe Ibiza, maybe St. Bart's, maybe France. And she's going to have to get back to "work" – meaning hustling and ho'ing. She is an "actress" and an international call girl, after all. And that's going to take a big chunk of time to get those careers back on track. But for now, I'm happy that she's actually putting in some work. Oh, but if you want a rough LL story, last week, The Enquirer had this: EEEEKKKKK! Doing her community service at LA's county morgue, LINDSAY LOHAN emptied a trash bin – and suddenly screamed bloody murder when a bloody, severed human hand bounced out and hit the floor at her feet! "Lindsay went totally hysterical and bolted from the room shrieking," said My Morgue Insider. "She was making so much noise she never heard the pranksters who'd played their elaborate practical joke howling with laughter!"…Say whaaat?… That's right, folks, co-workers got so disgusted with LiLo's lazy ways and hoity-toity manner they decided: Let's scare her to death! "Lindsay has a real attitude – always acting like she's better than anyone else and spending much of her time taking cigarette breaks," confided a volunteer who's worked with her. "She speaks to no one unless she has to, and mopes through the work she's assigned, like mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms and washing dirty sheets." Fed-up workers bought the rubber hand, stashed it in a trash bin where Lindsay would be working, waited outside the room – then exploded with laughter when Lindsay exited screaming. Said the source: "When one of the volunteer organizers told Lindsay that someone had planted the phony hand as a joke, she was furious and ranted, 'I can't believe anyone would think this was funny! A few more things – when will be seeing some of LL's Playboy pictorial? My guess is within the next few weeks. I'm sure it will be a freckled cracktastrophe that will have Marilyn Monroe rolling over in her grave. Also – LL got a haircut or something. Her busted extensions might have gotten taken out? To be fair, there hasn't been much gossip about them in the past month and a half. Ryan and Eva got together in September, when they were working together on some film. Ryan took Eva to Disneyland, which is how we knew that they were bangin' (he takes EVERY hookup to Disneyland). Later, there were some tabloid reports that Ryan was actually serious about Eva, and that it wasn't just a quickie wham-bam-Disneyland adventure. Now things are looking even more serious – these are photos of Eva and Ryan in Paris during the long Thanksgiving holiday. Eva is filming in Paris, and Ryan came to visit her, and they went on a romantic/gothic stroll in a cemetery. Ryan Gosling sure knows how to make a girl feel special! The 31-year-old actor surprised love of two months Eva Mendes on the set of Holly Motors in Paris, France Friday, two insiders confirm to Us Weekly. “Ryan flew out to be with Eva as soon as she wrapped Holly Motors,” one source says. “The film was a fairly small production and Eva was good about being focused and without many distractions on set.” A second insider adds that Mendes, 37, “was totally shocked” when Gosling showed up unannounced. “They were talking all the time so she had no hints that he was coming,” the second insider tells Us. “She was really homesick and missed him, even though she practically just left to shoot!” The following day, the paramours snuck in a few kisses while strolling arm-in-arm through Pere Lachaise cemetery. Kate Winslet’s ex-husband really is boning the alleged other woman, Rebecca Hall Posted: 27 Nov 2011 05:13 AM PST I know most people won't give a crap about this story, but I'm feeling a moment of gossip vindication! In March of 2010, Kate Winslet and her director husband/baby-daddy Sam Mendes announced their split. At first, sources were mealy-mouthed about the "reasons" for the split – stuff about how Sam and Kate's marriage suffered after they worked together, and that Sam was "bored" in the marriage, blah, blah, blah. And then some of the British tabloids began saying that The Real Reason was Sam's ongoing friendship/relationship with Rebecca Hall, a young actress who is probably best known to American audiences for her part in The Town. Here's a photo of Hall: Sam and Rebecca were working together when Sam and Kate Winslet broke up, and there were rumors of an affair. Rumors that Rebecca offered a non-denial denial for when they came up during The Town's promotion. Time passed and I didn't really hear anything, so I kind of thought my initial instinct – that Winslet left her philandering husband – was not on target. But it was on target. Rebecca and Sam have been seeing each other this whole time: She’s the beautiful English actress who was blamed for the breakdown of Kate Winslet's marriage to film director Sam Mendes. Now, 18 months after being implicated as the 'other woman', it has been revealed that Rebecca Hall, daughter of veteran theatre director Sir Peter Hall, is dating the Oscar-winning film director. A spokesman for Mendes last night confirmed he was romantically involved with Miss Hall, 29, saying: 'It's true they are in a relationship.' A source close to the star added: 'They are dating and have been for some time. I can't put an exact date on it, but certainly nothing happened until after Sam's marriage was over.' The couple are believed to be spending time together in London where Mendes, 46, is directing the new James Bond film Skyfall. News of their relationship comes 18 months after Miss Hall was blamed for the collapse of Mendes' six-year marriage to Titanic actress Miss Winslet. At the time it was claimed Miss Winslet ended the marriage after growing tired of her husband's closeness to Cambridge-educated Miss Hall, whose father Sir Peter founded the Royal Shakespeare Company. But sources close to Mendes, who has an eight-year-old son Joe with his ex-wife, insisted the couple were nothing more than friends. Miss Hall first met Mendes – who won an Oscar for his 1999 debut film American Beauty – on the set of her film, Starter For 10, where he was executive producer. Of course, it's totally possible that Sam and Rebecca were "just friends" while Sam was a married man and that once he found himself single, his relationship with Rebecca progressed romantically. But in my mind, it's far more likely that Sam was either having an emotional or physical affair with Hall, and Kate simply had enough. I'm also saying the "affair" possibility is more likely because Hall looks so much like Rachel Weisz, who Sam was dating before Kate (Kate reportedly "stole" Sam from Weisz). Lily Allen (Lily Cooper) gave birth to a baby girl (Mini Cooper) on Friday Posted: 27 Nov 2011 05:00 AM PST This is good news! Lily Allen gave birth to a baby girl on Friday! Huzzah! It's always good news when a lady has a healthy pregnancy and gives birth to a healthy baby, but even more so in Lily's case. In 2008, she suffered a miscarriage when she was with her then-boyfriend, and one year ago, Lily had a painful stillbirth when she was only six months pregnant. Lily married Sam Cooper several months ago, and she was already pregnant when she and Sam got hitched. Lily Allen has a new reason to smile. The pop star and her husband, Sam Cooper, welcomed their first child, a girl, on Friday, according to various reports. And the well-wishers are already chiming in. Her friend Sam Chew Tweeted this message: “sending out love to lily, sam and mini cooper…… YES.” Another pal, Charlie Condou, Tweeted to his followers that the singer had a little girl. Allen, 26, wed Cooper, a painter and decorator, in Gloucestershire, England, last June, when she revealed she was expecting her bundle of joy. She has also since taken his last name. Her U.K. rep had no comment on the birth of their daughter. The birth comes after several hardships for the singer. She lost a baby boy in November 2010, after contracting a viral infection six months into her pregnancy. She also miscarried her first pregnancy in January 2008, while she was dating British musician Ed Simons. [From People] Oh, wait? She's Lily Cooper now? Noted. Well, even though I've had my issues with Lily in the past, I'm very, very happy for her now. She really wanted to be a mom, and I'm so glad that it finally happened for her, and that she and baby seem like they're doing well.
