| Drake Tardy To The Party But Keeps It Poppin At Sundance!!! Posted: 23 Jan 2012 01:20 PM PST Naughty, naughty Drake! As Sundance continues rock on in Park City, a blizzard Saturday almost kept the hip hop star from making it to his performance! Drake arrived three hours late, much to the chagrin of his warm-up act, Aziz Ansari. Aziz was booed by the celeb filled crowd as he tried to stall for the rapper. Cuba Gooding Jr. rushed on stage to fire back at the crowd for being so unruly. But Aziz laughed it off, saying "I'm not that upset, Cuba Gooding Jr." When he finally arrived, Drake tore the roof off the building! But he was "attacked" for NOT wearing a sweater! It was a lose-lose for Drake, we guess! He did apologize for his tardiness and said the following when he hit the stage:

As of this week, Nick Jonas will be officially replacing Darren Criss as J. Pierpont Finch in the Broadway revival of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying! For those of you who won't be making it into the city for his opening night, here is a pretty spectacular behind-the-scenes look at his first stage rehearsals for the show! (above) Oh, and another plus -- Michael Urie is starting with the production this week too! He's also in the video talking about joining the show and how excited he is! | Kanye West Pisses Everyone Off At Big Day Out, Including Soundgarden Posted: 23 Jan 2012 12:10 PM PST He's always one who makes enemies easier than friends! This weekend, Kanye West put his fans in a foul mood at Big Day Out when he arrived 45 minutes late to his set and kept them all waiting in the rain. Once he finally got there, he put on a show spectacular enough to appease them, but the rockers of the newly reunited Soundgarden were far less forgiving. The group ended up having to play their set on a neighboring stage to Kanye, who was going through soundcheck at the time. His music was blasted so loud that it overpowered that of Soundgarden's and the fans were more than just displeased. Frontman Chris Cornell, who clearly wasn't impressed with Ye's music, shouted out to the crowd:
Can't say we love that connotation all that much. No doubt he's going to get into a lot of trouble for that remark -- and rightly so. But not to get too fixated, Kanye has to learn he is not the end-all, be-all of music. A little respect for his fans and fellow performers wouldn't kill him. They both should feel very ashamed. On Friday, an openly gay 14-year-old high school student in Carthage, Tennessee named Phillip Parker committed suicide due to bullying. | Anonymous Protestors Launching Replacement For Megaupload Posted: 23 Jan 2012 10:50 AM PST Though, for Anonymous, it can never be fully replaced. A new site can be launched online, but the place Megaupload has in their hearts will last forever. In short: Anonymous REALLY loved Megaupload. Like, maybe more than a friend. The online collective protesting efforts made by corporations and supporters of SOPA to shut down the Internet is taking their actions to the next level by launching their out file-sharing website to replace Megaupload. Dubbed Anonyupload, this new site is said to be fully functional no later than Wednesday and according to the site, "For your safety, our infrastructure will be out of the U.S jurisdiction ( Russia )." Why do we feel like that isn't a better alternative? Regardless, the movement won't be stopping there. There is some talk the activists will launch an Anonymous-themed Facebook alternative, Anon+. Wait. Wouldn't that be a Google+ alternative? Oh whatever! The point is, the movement is GROWING and they are ready to show the U.S. 1% what is up! Think you'll be using Anonyupload? |

Amid highly negative reviews, Breaking Dawn is set to be the highest selling Twilight movie so far. Twi-hards have pumped 701.3 million bucks into the global economy with figs from China and Japan still to come. New Moon grossed $709.8M and that looks like to be Eclipse-d pretty soon. Better news for Twi-hards?! Breaking Dawn hits store shelves February 11th. Just in time for Valentine's! |
