YBF Chick Raven Symone just landed a new gig. And this one's on Broadway! Get the deets inside, plus Tyler Perry's eyebrow-raising casting decision for his new movie, Madea's Witness Protection... Raven's bringing her animated and "extra" personality and voice to the big stage again. The 26-year-old was just cast as the lead role in Broadway's adaptation of the musical Sister Act, which opened last April. Deadline reports she's taking over as the new Deloris Van Cartier, the role originated on the silver screen by Whoopi Goldberg. Raven starts rehearsals in February and takes the stage the end of March at the Broadway Theater. Congrats to her! Fun fact: Raven made her Broadway debut when she was 5...singing with the Boys Choir of Harlem.
Speaking of youngins landing big roles, 22-year-old Romeo Miller (son of Master P and co-star of Jumping The Broom) was just cast as the co-lead in Tyler Perry's umpteenth Madea movie. The former "Dancing With The Stars" cutie will star in Madea's Witness Protection--Tyler's fourth movie of 2012. That man Mr. Perry does not quit. And since Tyler is good for casting folks we haven't seen in a while, he's brought on Marla Gibbs ("227"), John Amos ("Good Times"), Eugene Levy (American Pie), Denise Richards, and Tom Arnold. The synopsis of the movie: Eugene Levy stars in the film as George, a high level CFO at the center of a Ponzi scheme in New York City who is enrolled in the Witness Protection program along with his family in the one place that absolutely no one will think to look for them: Madea's house down South. Romeo Miller stars as Jake, a friend of Brian (an attorney who places the family in Madea's care, also played by Tyler Perry) who was affected by the scam; Amos as Jake's (Romeo Miller's) father in the film, and Gibbs appears as Madea's neighbor. Tyler's other movie, Good Deeds, starring Gabby Union and Thandie Newton, hits theaters February 24th. |

While most athletes are having a pre-game dinner or pre-game talks or other rituals, Heat star LeBron James is biking his way to work. Pics of Bron Bron pedaling his way down the Miami streets inside... Miami Heat superstar forward LeBron James was spotted riding his bike to work Sunday afternoon ahead of his game against the Chicago Bulls. Because of the Miami marathon, traffic was busy around the AmericanAirlines Arena before the game. So to ensure he got to work on time and for a pre-game workout, the newly engaged Mr. James rode with two of his associates to the arena. Of course some fans had to hop in the pics. Wonder what those drivers were thinking when they looked out their window and saw a giant pedaling next to them. But the bike ride must have helped--LeBron scored 35 points and a 97-93 win over the Bulls. Rihanna was spotted out clubbing in West Hollywood recently in her best spandex. See the pics inside and find out about the fancy art piece she recently commissioned. She's set to headline the UK's Barclaycard Wireless Fest alongside her homie-lover-friend Drake this summer (July 7-8) in London's Hyde Park. And Rihanna was spotted leaving Greystone Manor Nightclub in West Hollywood this week. In this get-up:
Rih rocked an army fatigue cap, and tight black skirt and a belly-revealing blouse paired with black pumps.
She also added her gold belly chain and black leather jacket.

Recently, she added to her growing art collection by purchasing a $160,000 of Marilyn Monroe made of 65,000 Swarovski crystals! RiRi commissioned the piece from British artist Claire Milner. The custom piece took four months to complete and weighs 182 pounds! Of the piece, Claire said, "A 100 percent Swarovski crystal portrait is very luxurious -- people stand and stare because it constantly changes color, sending rainbows round the room." Mission Impossible 4 star Paula Patton (left) and Pariah star Adepero Oduye in their sexy satin dresses joined several actresses for the Old Hollywood (20's and 30's) themed glammed up Vanity Fair spread, shot by Mario Testino. The Art Deco set was designed to evoke the all-white, Jazz Age interiors of English decorator Syrie Maugham and to resemble a sexy boudoir. Other glamourous actresses--Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Elizabeth Olsen, Shailene Woodley, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins, and Brit Marling--are featured across the 3 panels as well.
Brooklyn native Adepero (standing) is an Ivy League graduate of Cornell University, and has theater credits spanning many stages like the Yale Repertory Theatre. Her movie, Pariah, which also stars Kim Wayans, was a hit amongst the independent-movie-going crowd. Pariah is all about a Brooklyn teen juggling conflicting identities while risking friendship, heartbreak, and family in a desperate search for sexual expression. With a story line that paints a vivid picture of love and of a man assuring his woman there is no one else for him, there couldn't have been a more perfectly appropriate premiere date for the video than Valentine's Day, February 14, 2012.

Indiana Pacers' Guard-Forward Dahntay Jones is the newest baller with a baby on the way. He and wife Valeisha Butterfield-Jones--founder of WEEN--are pregnant!
Deets inside... Valeisha and Dahntay got married 6 months ago in her home state of North Carolina. And they wasted no time popping out a baby. Valeisha celebrated her birthday today by posting to her Facebook page this announcement:

Terrell Owens stopped by "WENDY" today to talk about his money woes, meeting his 5-yr-old son and why he's not friends with Mo and Kita. Watch Wendy dish on their interview inside and find out about JR Smith's sister fighting in China during a basketball game. Terrrell Owens chatted with Wendy Williams today where they talked in-depth about the GQ interview he gave detailing his money problems, issues with baby mommas and distrust of Mo and Kita. Wendy discussed the GQ article at length asking him about his money woes (he had tons of bad investments), why he doesn't trust anyone (a friend stole $300K + Mo and Kita pitched a TV behind his back), his 4 baby mamas (he said he loves his kids but really didn't know any of the women) and why he is lonely (the grandmother who raised him passed away recently). He also shared that he is now a part of an indoor football league and hopes to return to the NFL one day. After the show, Wendy sat down and gave her opinion about the interview wondering if we should feel sorry for T.O. or not. Sigh..... Watch the clip here.....

We were hoping this wasn't really happening...but it is. A cast of approximately 5 people is now shooting a brand new reality show based on folks "making it happen" in ATL. And Memphitz is likely at the helm.
And seeing that stripper Maliah Michel, a few other booty models, and singer/rapper wanna-bes are all involved, we're going with the usual sow premise of "We're showing you why partying and flaunting our enlarged asses is such hard work." Deets inside... Despite the fact she still lives in Houston, stripper/multi-rapper arm piece Maliah Michel is starring in an upcoming reality show with the working title of "Mistresses of Atlanta". Based on the numerous tweets from cast members, photographers, makeup artists, and clothing designers outfitting them for the show, today is Day 3 of shooting. And the above shot is from today's promo photoshoot.
Reportedly, the cast consists of one guy who goes by the twitter name of SoleHeir (above), Maliah, Model/stripper Rosee Divine, model Sarah Oliver, rapper M’Jae and singer Strings. Whoever these people are. We've also learned that Toya's husband Memphitz is involved with the project in some way--likely producing it via his production company Do Work Ent.--as he's constantly pubbing the cast members and their promo photoshoots.
