Adrienne Bailon stopped by Cherry Martinez's radio show at Power 105.1 recently. And she finally gave her side of the "I'm not messing around with Fabolous" story. What she had to say about it all inside...
For Cherry martinez's "Girl Power Mondays," she had former Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon on the show to dish about her ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian (whom she says they didn't work out because of their blaring differences but they are still good firends) and her controversial "relationship" with her best friend Emily's "man" Fabolous. Posted: 25 Jan 2012 06:47 AM PST Rihanna apparently now feels the need to showcase how much of a thug she is....with a new pink Thug Life tattoo on her fingers. Pics inside of Rih Rih getting tatted up and the interesting finished product... Can't see this boding well with any upcoming beauty campaigns she's got in the works, but I guess that's why photoshop is everyone's bestie. So last night in L.A., the almost 24-year-old paid tribute to rapper Tupac by getting Thug Life tattoo'd on her fists. And tweeted Ricky Rozay's track: "All these b****es screaming that 2pac back ♫ #THUGLIFE.' Then: "Tat my f***in name on u girl so I know its real!!! #MINE" Referencing Rick Ross & Drake's song "Free Spirit" where Drake alludes to wanting to be on Tupac’s level as Pac’s girl Kiddada Jones got his name tattoo'd on her arm.
And looks like she got a second tatt last night as well as she tweeted a pic of her laid out on the table--beer in hand. She said, "'My boo Mark Mahoney!!!! #RockstarS*** #TATnight". Mark Mahoney is known for tatting religious icons and weapons on celebs like Britney Spears, Nicole Richie, Angelina Jolie, and others.
The "Cheers" singer caught up with actor Danny Trejo at the shop too. She supposedly already has approx. 13 visible tatts, including a music note on her ankle, a Pisces sign behind her right ear, the word 'love' on her left middle finger, "Shhh" on her right index finger, the Sanskrit Prayer on her hip, a trail of stars on the back of her neck, the French saying 'Rebelle Fleur', "Never A Failure, Always A Lesson" on her inner shoulder, a handgun on her rib, her best friend's birthdate in roman numerals on her neck/shoulder, a skull & bones with a pink hair bow on her ankle, and a few more. |

Big changes are on the way for Mr. Smith (shown above with Barry Weiss and Ethiopia Habtemariam). He just switched teams from Def Jam to Motown Records and was also named senior VP of A&R for Motown. In his new role, Ne-Yo will serve as a producer and mentor to the label's artists. Universal Republic and Island Def Jam Motown chairman/CEO Barry Weiss said, "His track record of success at Def Jam will always be a benchmark...But this move to Motown will provide new and inspiring challenges for Ne-Yo as both an artist and a key member of the new senior management team that is taking form at the label in 2012." Ethiopia Habtemariam, Senior Vice President of Motown Records, said of Ne-Yo "We are committed to discovering, developing and nurturing R&B/soul superstars here at Motown. In Ne-Yo we have both a global superstar and arguably one of the best songwriters in music. His presence on the executive team only strengthens our commitment to be the very best in R&B." Ne-Yo added, "I’m honored that I’ve been given such a prestigious title and trusted with such responsibility; terrified because I know that playing this role in the fashion of one of my career role models, Mr. Smokey Robinson — these are big shoes to fill. Kelly Rowland gushed about Baby Blue Ivy Carter during a recent Access Hollywood interview and described just how stunning she is. Watch the clip inside and see what Mary J. While at the Hpnotiq Harmonie and Live Louder kickoff party in Hollywood last night, Kelly Rowland talked to E! about Beyonce and Jay's daughter Blue Ivy Carter. She gushed, "She is just more precious than a diamond. She ’s just so stunning. I'm so happy for my sister and her husband. She ’s beautiful." And about the new parents, she said, "She’s an incredible mother. I' m so incredibly proud of her, so proud of her. She ’s in mommyville and I'm so happy for her and her husband's in daddyville, and the baby is very beautiful." Peep the video below:

Mary J. Blige got a little pissy when she didn't get nominated for "original song" when the 84th Annual Academy Awards nominations were announced today. She was considered a front-runner for “The Living Proof,” the ballad she penned for The Help. But here's the kicker....the category USUALLY has 5 nominees....this year they had two! Why the snub???? Mary tweeted her frustration saying, SIDEBAR: Elton John didn't get nominated either. I'm SURE we will hear from him and his husband soon...

Recovering nicely from that kidney failure scare, Nick Cannon was spotted out and about in his black Ferrari in LA today. See the pics inside and his words for Chelsea Handler...again. Mariah Carey's hubby Nick Cannon seems to be doing just fine as he was spotted hopping out of his whip in LA today.
He kept it comfy in a Nike sweat suit and Jordans while handling his business. Yesterday, Nick snapped at comedienne Chelsea Handler, who called Mariah "ridiculous" during her recent interview with Howard Stern. And this wasn't the first time. Chelsea said: “She’s worse than Elizabeth Taylor. She’s just so ridiculous with her body. You see her one day and she’s like 50 pounds heavier or lighter. I mean, what is she doing? I don’t even understand what hemisphere people like that operate in. There’s nothing real about her and her Hello Kitty whatever…” So Nick tweeted:

Solange recently posed for INSTYLE Magazine, and took some time to gush about her brand new niece Blue Ivy Carter. See the pretty pics and find out Solange's "plans" for being an aunt inside..... Singer/Actress Solange Knowles is ready for a little bit of payback on her big sis Beyonce. She posed it up in uber cute fashion mixes of florals, bold colors and prints for the February 2012 issue. And while talking about her plans for being a great auntie, she revealed: “This may sound awful, but I’m excited to let the baby do whatever it wants, in the same way my sister’s done with my son. I’m going to get her back for all those late-night popcorn sessions and just spoiling my child to no end!” About her choice in style, she says: “Whether it’s eyelets, knits or florals, I always enjoy playing with texture and pattern. | SPEAK ON IT: Chrissy & Emily Talk LOYALTY & CHEATING On "Love & Hip Hop" Season 2 Finale Posted: 24 Jan 2012 09:25 AM PST
Last night's "Love & Hip Hop" Season 2 finale raised some eyebrows and blood pressure. We already knew about Kimbella's pregnancy--event though she spent the whole episode saying she and baby daddy Juelz weren't on the level they needed to be on and he couldn't give her what she needed. But what we didn't know was Chrissy's definition of "loyalty" and what she allows Jim to do in their relationship.
Check out the clip inside and speak on it... I typically try to stay as objective as possible with this show as most of it is scripted and everyone has different outlooks on what's acceptable and what's not. Especially where women and their careers and their relationships are concerned. But last night just needs to be discussed.
Emily went to Chrissy about what Fab's ex-assistant Winter (who was just spotted with Fab days ago by the way) told her about "forgiving" Fab. Emily says that Winter's advice to her which was to "find a hobby" while Fab is out "doing what he's going to do" stuck out to her. Winter told Emily to go home because "she is breaking Fab's heart right now." (Girl stop.) Emily didn't know if she should take heed to Winter's advice to turn the other cheek to Fab's cheating ways. Winter told her it costs (and not money) to ride in the Bentleys (which 99% of these rappers are leasing their damn selves) and get all the clothes and shoes she's come to worship. So Em needed Chrissy's advice on whether she should take heed to what Winter said. Chrissy's advice to Em was even more shocking. She said this rap business is indeed crazy at times, and you have to have a specific bond with your man. Chrissy, who I have been a huge supporter of all season and was actually surprised by, went on to say that "a man is going to do what he's going to do," but has to be loyal and smart enough to never let his main girl see it, feel it, or hear it. And she indeed sounded as if she was speaking from cheating experience with Jimmy. Now I know this is a touchy subject and all, but low standards and no sense of self worth has to be called out when it's slapping me in the face every week. And even moreso when young girls are looking to these shows as examples of how to live--whether we like it or not. Em & Chrissy's conversation was the best example of a woman believing "My body, mind and self are only worth main status," instead of it all being worth "ONLY" status. These women--esp. those with young daughters--have GOT to do better. It's bad enough you think it's ok to get treated like trash on a public platform and publicly cheated on, it's a whole other to make it known that you're OK with it. How's this for some advice? Some folks are not going to like it...but sue me. GET/CREATE A REAL JOB, work your ass off like plenty of successful and fabulous women do every day of their lives, and buy your own shoes and clothes and what nots. Since that's what's important to you. A grown and able woman relying on a man to buy her the very things she can buy for herself will always lead to a dumb doormat with no self worth. No matter how well you dress up the screen door. There is nothing wrong with your lover/man/friend/whatever you want to call him gifting you things to add to your collection (we all love a gift). That's what people do for each other in relationships. But making a man, who has no desire to make you his ONLY, your sole source of getting the necessities and luxuries you believe you need in life--is just foolish. And will never end well. In the end, surprisingly, Emily said she did not move back in with Fab because she demands more respect. Hopping off my soapbox...speak on it oh fab ones. And check out the clip below:
