Lil Wayne Was HAPPY About Tha Carter IV Leak Posted: 04 Sep 2011 01:40 PM PDT Um, wow. You wouldn't hear this from most music artists. However, Lil Wayne has said that he wasn't too worried when his new album Tha Carter IV leaked online. In fact, he insisted that it showed how much people wanted to hear the record. Even though the album released five days before the release date, Weezy says: "We did real good this time, real good. It just means people want to hear it. mean, 'cause there're people's albums that come out that can be leaked and don't leak, so I'm glad mine's leaked! I think we should still do well." He has nothing to worry about! Tha Carter IV broke records, becoming the most old albums on iTunes in one week with over 850,000 copies being sold all together. Dayum! You did good, Weezy. Pool Party Chaos! Facebook Invite Draws Thousands Posted: 04 Sep 2011 12:40 PM PDT Insanity!! A Welcome Back school party at Colorado State University got OUT OF CONTROL when thousands of people showed up. Partygoers posted the invite all over their Facebook pages, which made this one cray-cray pool party! Dozens of people were arrested and some walked away with minor injuries after fights broke out. Move Aside, Netflix! Dish Network To Introduce Online Movie Rentals Posted: 04 Sep 2011 12:20 PM PDT Some more bad news for Netflix! Not only have they raised their prices, leaving customers VERY upset, but they've also just recently lost out on their deal with Starz, dropping their stock price by 9% last Friday. And NOW they have new competition. The Dish Network is looking into releasing their own movie subscription that will include online streaming as well as mail and in-store rentals, AND on-demand rentals. Dish also owns Blockbuster, which means they would be getting existing customers as well as possibly picking up the Starz deal that was broken with Netflix. This is some major competition for Netflix and with so many customers angry at the company for raising their prices, they could very well see another drop in user subscriptions. Yikes!! We'd think twice about our pricing decisions if we were you, Netflix! Things aren't looking good for you...

Adele Postpones UK Tour Dates Due To Illness Posted: 04 Sep 2011 11:20 AM PDT Oh no! Poor Adele! She's been forced to postpone two UK concert dates after falling ill to a nasty chest infection. She withdrew from her performances at the Plymouth Pavillions and at the Bournemouth International Centre. Not wanting to leave her fans hanging, the singer released a statement on her website: "hi guys, sorry about the first 2 shows. im as useless as a slug right now, ive had a rotten cold since i got home earlier this week and was hoping it wouldnt make its way onto my chest. but unfortunately it has and its leaving me breathless and i cant hold any of my notes when i sing." DWTS Execs Considered Pairing Carson Kressley With A Male Partner Posted: 04 Sep 2011 11:00 AM PDT It would have been awesome if they went ahead and did that. Dancing with the Stars execs said they considered pairing openly-gay Carson Kressley with a male dance partner. But instead, they opted to team him up with dancing vet Anna Trebunskaya. Exec producer Conrad Green says: "We thought about it. We try to follow what happens in real ballroom competitions. That was the original intention of the show. And while we are aware that there are same-sex couples, the competitions are usually mixed-gendered. It's a performance, like actors. We don't think its odd pairing up dancers with incompatible sexual preferences, but based off abilities. What we try to do is reflect a broad range of the entertainment world in the casting of the show. We're always trying to find new things that people haven't seen, new types of stories and that's what we've been doing this season." And that's why it would have been really interesting if they partnered Carson with a man. We get that they want to mirror what's happening in the real dancing world, but this sounds like a bit of bullshiz to us. Would U rather see Carson dance with a man or a woman??
